I am depressed now because I was very happy for a marriage proposal... I used to see his pictures all the time.. and today they come in our house only parents... When I go in front of them (parents) his mother didn't even look at me.. and doesn't talk directly And to the point..
And after 15 minutes they left saying do 'Dua' pray.. and we were waiting from a month passing everyday hardly.. me and my mother talk about that all the time.. and they just break our happiness in 20 minutes..

Yes, it's a shameful disgraceful thing for those who reject Allah and His Mercy and Powerful Signs throughout the Heavens and the Earth. Those disbelievers will not be able to see Allah in the Hereafter and that punishment is greater than the second punishment which is when they enter the hot blazing fire for their wickedness and disbelief.

وَٱلَّذِينَ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمَعَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

Our hearts are connected more to a feeling/s that become addictive for us...so we are not awakened completely and our seeking of reality is based on this connection.
If we are always aware of our emotions that are making us go biased and decide based on complete truth only then...we will be intelligent and find true guidance of Allah.

Only people of understanding will be reminded of the signs.

وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْـِٔدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَـٰرَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
