    Nice for beginners, also use a diode parallel to relay to protect transistor

    you can add kick-back diode to protect transistor from the spike from relay.

    Why you have done LOW SIDE SWITCHING or GROUND SIDE SWITCHING for relay ?

      Base V needs to be higher than Emitter (>0.6V) for NPN BJT so designed for ground side switching where Emitter is pulled down to 0V.

    why we are using transistor. can we connect battery directly to coil of relay in series and their ends will be dipped in water.
