The way he plays is just perfectly smooth. You can see the subtle difference that it takes to be his rank. What he explains during game is also usually in line with how I think about the game and I love how he confirmed my bias about viktor E. That ability is so dumb lol.

I knew he had bone plating from previous game so I took e to not allow him to e start hit back
You usually start e versus ranged. q is too short ranged and it's a single target spell, meaning you concede first push.
Try taking Shield Bash with boneplating on viktor with Aery runes. It's incredibly powerful, but doesn't give you the bonus gold. The trading is much stronger though in lane.
I really don't like absolute focus in a ranged vs ranged matchup, I think manaflow is better value strictly because they can trade back and your uptime on AF is low compared to a ranged vs melee matchup

I have to say, Viktor's character design and abilities always seemed pretty boring and old to me. But, I've watched so much of you content that I've actually come to respect the champ and his great scaling. This is to the point where, if my main is banned and I don't feel comfortable playing other "safe" champs like Neeko, I'll just pick Viktor and go for scaling XD. He's a great lane bully, has amazing burst and consistent damage with his ultimate, and can be a great split pusher simply because of his scaling and late game damage potential. I actually really enjoy him now. Thanks for the champ suggestion Pekin 👍
