Ooooold 737. Great report Jayden. I used to have the same antler bag that you checked. Unfortunately the “tyres” came off a couple of wheels. I upgraded ;) to a samsonite.

I think the reason there aren’t coat hooks in business class is because the crew will normally take your jacket and hang it up in a cabinet at the front (though not sure if they’ll do that with COVID-19 restrictions in place). I’m planning to visit Brisbane next weekend. 😍 Hoping the borders stay open! 🤞🏽
Good point! Love it when the crew do that especially in economy! i'm confident SA's border will keep open to QLD. I wouldn't hesitate and book another ticket there LOL. I can't wait for you to take that flight😝

Good old Qantas..they rarely fail to deliver a great business class flights on domestic or indeed international flights (remember them ??) Thanks Jayden...great flight and review as always...stay safe and well mate !!
I have only tried their international business once, Sydney to Hong Kong and it was a surprise upgrade from economy class without even using points 😝 but yep my mum flies Qantas business quite often from Hong Kong and she loves it! She always asks the HK lounge reception to make sure mattress is ready haha

Jayden I could only hope to get that nice meal in first class when I go to Cancun in a week. I hear you have to ask for alcohol in first and business because they won’t offer it to you. There will be some kind of a gross boxed lunch, yuck! American Airlines as well as all US carriers taking advantage of Covid cost cutting. Nice video. Hope you recovered from your house party. LMAO!!❤️👍✈️

Cost-cutting was similar after 9/11. The major loss for me was the downgrade of Midwest Express Airlines all business class seats and service; they went from full meals on china and with real cutlery to snacks, although they continued to serve their signature warm gooey chocolate chip cookies. I've never flown business or first in my adult life, but I miss the good old days of real meals in economy.
G'day, Jayden! Nice shoes! Ha ha! I have two pairs like that! Very comfortable, and I love being able to slip them on and off, compared to futzing with laces. Love the CLEAN business class seat you got to sit in! Nice to have the free wi-fi back, I'm sure. Nice meal, looks like restaurant quality and makes me want quiche! And the cutlery IS nice, as well as the dishes. Very nice shot of the sparkling wine in front of the cabin window! So the toilets are different between business class and economy on QANTAS 737? I'd think they would be the same, given the aircraft size. Funny coat hook comment as usual! Yes, 1 is DEFINITELY a downgrade! Overall, you did very well staying awake and present, considering the lack of sleep the night before. 😉 Great trip report, as always!
G'day Britt! My mum bought me that shoes for my formal (prom) in 2018😝 I've only worn it 6 times in my life, (1) my school formal (2) my friend's formal (3) my flight to Hong Kong, I got tax refunded at Melbourne Airport, I wore it so I didn't have to carry it. When the tax officer asked me to show him my shoes, I just pointed at my feet😂 (4) Year 12 graduation in 2018 (5,6) this flight and the flight back. Love it! Love it so much that I don't want to wear it too often. Yep economy class used to have similar or identical as to the one in business. But Qantas added one more row in economy a couple years back so did many airlines like American. Instead of compromising the legroom, all they did was shrinking the lavatory space. Economy lavatories on refurbished 737 on most airlines are very tiny and you have to wash your hand once at the time with that ridiculous basin. Thanks for checking this out Britt!!

And maybe fly VA next time coz they have some financial issues and now I know why my friend is in the hospital, he forgot to remove to take off his mask when the oxygen mask was deployed, just kidding!!!
haha thankfully not there weren't many people at the airport. There was only 2 flights leaving when I was there, mine and a Jetstar also to Brisbane. I'd love to fly Virgin! But their fares now are so high for some reason! They've got some cheap Thursday sales sometimes but then I booked and they changed my trip and I had to cancel :( got a voucher with them tho

I noticed that some People on this flight didn‘t wear the Mask properly and I wonder if Quantas enforces a strict Mask wearing policy because we do at Lufthansa to ensure Hygenic Measures.

Thanks for watching Michaela! Yep masks are optional for both passengers and crew except for flights to/from Melbourne. On my return flight, almost nobody including the crew wore masks. This is because cases in South Australia and Queensland are so low, on some days there weren't any active cases until someone flies in from overseas :)

Depends on what states you’re flying into and from. Travels between NT, QLD and SA are now unrestricted :)

QLD opened to SA on July 10 :) so over a month now already!

haha you can come to SA anytime you want! Just make sure you haven’t been to VIC and NSW and before you leave, complete your SA declaration pass. Same when you fly home to QLD, you need to do one for QLD. Takes just a minute :)

Oh that quiche looked so good especially after a night on the tiles. Being older and more corrupted, my favourite airports are those where I can smoke my pipe peacefully pre flight. HK is good but frantic: Narita wins hands down for very comfortable pollution facilities. American terminals are all total sh.. in that regard. Enjoyed the report

Flying domestic in Thailand compared to down under right now (Thai Airways and Qantas for simplicity’s sake):
Airport check in: Kiosks are available as well but I chose the desk because why not
Lounge: Everything is prepackaged even “Khao Tom mad” which is normally wrapped in banana leaves but looks like the offering is better than QF clubs
Service onboard: Hand sanitisers on boarding bottle of water when you leave the aircraft. Not allowed to eat anything onboard.
Must wear mask throughout the flight
Social distancing not enforced on boarding but enforced at the baggage claim.
that's very interesting, on Qantas (and Cathay too) it's almost like covid never happened.
One World Flyer Bangkok Airways is actually doing a different strategy as well, they have a lounge for economy passengers, and they actually give you a full meal in the lounge even if you’re flying economy. That’s quite a noble effort especially during the coronavirus!
Just curious, as your neighbour was featured in some of the shots and I guess it's obvious that you were doing a Vlog, did you mention that to your neighbour in passing conversation? Or would you ask they if they minded that they may be featured partly in your Vlog?
