I’ve brought home bedbugs twice; once from traveling and once from buying used furniture. They are a serious pain to kill, especially if you live somewhere with lots of cracks and crevices in the walls. If you’re traveling and you realize you’ve been exposed to Bedbugs, Do NOT unpack when you get home. Leave all your luggage and everything in a car (or somewhere you can blast the room with high heat) and let your car sit in the sun for several hours with the windows up. Kill then all before they even get into your home!
After the first treatment. Some of the bedbugs and eggs were missing. How could they know that? They counted heads (and eggs) before the eradication treatment?
I caught that too but I think it was just the wording. I assume it meant after she treated the house, they still saw some left that were not dead and killed in the treatment no. 1.
For lice there is no need to shave the hair or burn possessions.......soak hair in oil (vegetable, olive, coconut, etc.) and cover with a plastic grocery bag for a couple hours.....and then once again when any babies are due to be born and that should be sufficient for most......literally cost pennies and your hair is usually even more lustrous than before! Just remember to vacuum and launder everything you can in the mean time.....steaming helps too.....or seal the items that are hard to wash (like stuffed animals) in a bag and put it in the freezer or outside for a few days. Don't forget to dispose of the vacuum bag right away so the bugs don't just run back out. Diatomaceous earth sprinkled on the baseboards and key pieces of furniture is an excellent extra measure.
My mom used flea dip and it killed everything from larvae to eggs and my damn hair. But it killed them alright. Mom didn't take chances with 5 girls in the house.
So, my sister went on vacation & brought bed bugs back with her. She used a steamer on her mattress, box springs, etc & got rid of them quickly. So if anyone has issues with bed bugs, a steamer works wonders! No need to exterminate or set up big heaters. I just wanted to pass that along.
They're everywhere here in Las Vegas. I didn't even know they were real until I moved here. I got hundreds of bites before I ever even saw one! So hard to get rid of. We have to be super careful not to get them. The people here wash all their new stuff as soon as they get home, most people don't thrift for that reason, the bus or even library books can spread them!
@@MariaAbrams I know! It's crazy! People have gotten them from doctor offices, school, etc. The reason they're rampant is due to a ban of a chemical that was used prior. I can't recall the name of it tho. They're nasty for sure.
Place your luggage in the bathtub in a hotel room. Bedbugs can’t climb into the bathtub. If you want to take a shower, place your luggage on the vanity. 🥰❤️ A hand steamer and Diatomaceous Earth helps eradicate them if you get them. 🥰❤️ Make sure everything gets steamed, especially baseboards, curtains, beds, furniture, etc.
I lived in New Mexico for 33 years and once had a friend who was bit by a black widow while sitting in the outhouse. His nuts swelled up as big as cue balls. He was alright, but couldn't sit down for a while.
My cousin got Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever from.a tick an almost died he was in bad shape for weeks afterwards it was scary asf but he to is allergic to alotta things bees, moths, Caterpillar's an many every day normal things he quit hunting and everything after that.
It's just like we had a McDonald's here in the Washington area that had rats and try to light and cover it up and say they were remodeling when they worked
Severe Mast Cell Activation warrior right here! It means 24/7 IV Benadryl thru a needle and port implanted in my chest and at least 2 Epi Pens within reach at all times! It SUCKS being allergic to the whole world!
Little Mr Moffett sat on couch watching his football game, when he reached for some grapes, was bite by a spider, luckily by Dr's was saved. *I'll see myself out*
I was given Viral Encephalitis when I was bitten by a mosquito. I developed a fever in excess of 105°, and has to be placed in a medically induced coma for 4-5 days.
Bed bugs are the only thing to which I am allergic. I’ve had one encounter with the little bastards and thankfully I did not bring them home with me. But they did ruin my short vacation. I was physically ill, the individual bites swelled hugely, and I itched almost constantly!
I've been bitten by black widow spiders twice. Once while working for the local school district. Another time at home. The one at home was on my back, I found it crushed in my shirt afterwards. Not much except for itching. The one at work was a little worse. I was bitten on my neck below my left ear. I jokingly said I've been bitten before and nothing happened. But within 15 minutes half of my face went numb. I went to immediate Care and was told that nothing serious was happening.
I was bitten by a baby brown recluse and for months the doctor was sure I would lose my leg. Thank God I was able to keep it but it's not pretty to look at.
I hate stinking brown recluses, my ex got bit on the foot by one. I had to help hold her down as the doctor cleaned her wound out. The pain killer would not work because the wound had rot around it so she was screaming in pain. It was so horrible.
Most people get a small, red, itchy bump from mosquito, fire ant, and other bug bites. I get huge red welts. Often runny nose and fevers too. And, for whatever reason, if anyone is gonna get bit, it'll be me! I can stand in a group and I'm the only one who gets eaten alive! Many years ago, I was living with my partner at the time and she had cats, who were [obviously] inside. I had dogs who were primarily outside. My dogs never had fleas but those damn cats got them. My lower legs and feet were tore UP!!! We flea bombed the house, treated the cats repeatedly, and it still took a couple of months, several rounds of antibiotics and tons of antihistamines to get me healed up. I could hardly wear shoes, and when I did, it was just slip-ons, for months. It didn't help that they were the itchiest things I've ever experienced in my life- I actually scratched them in my sleep they were so bad! If I've ever experienced true torture in this lifetime, that was it!!
🦂🦂🦂🦂 nope. Mosquitos are easy to avoid in WA where I'm at when it isn't summer time. They do come for me then but I have a tendency to stay indoors and bath in bug spray when I'm outside for extended periods of time. I used to get attacked as a kid so I got used to the noxious fumes that Deep Woods OFF puts out. I do however live in fear when I do see them anyways.
I was bit by a brown recluse. It was bad and imagine boiling hot lava as the venom disintegrates your tissue. But it doesn't end there your tissues continue to die which are cut away and the wound packed and this goes on and on. So much destruction in such a small bug which I squished by the way....Only after the bite!
Who wanna bet the Model went IN the Hotel with those Bumps and didn't wanna get sued & fired for not showing up to her Signed Contract walk and that's why the Hotel couldn't find any bugs b'cuz Pest Control Companies absolutely have to report when bugs are found as that was only an allergy, ppl CAN die if seriously allergic.
So she chose to spend over $5,000 ATTEMPTING to get rid of bed bugs (which are known to be extremely difficult to get rid of without proper treatment/methods) instead of paying just $500-$1000 for a company to guarantee getting rid of them? 🤔 I mean, it does make a good story/topic for her blog...
It's concerning that you picked up bed bugs from a hotel and proceeded to travel to hotels while getting rid of them which means you most likely put others at risk. I've had bed bugs and granted it's not a fun ordeal, nor a speedy process to get rid of them, I dealt with it and after about a week we saw maybe 1 or 2 and after a couple weeks we didn't experience any more.
Nightmares start with the phrase eye worms

I thought the same thing!!
“You may have heard of ear worms but what about eye worms”
Me: (never hearing about either) 😳
My food must be fully cooked or I won't eat it
2:50 So she normally inspects for bed bugs but then had to research them when she received bites?
Uh.... okay then.

This is my worst nightmare!
Sooo happy I’m early! I need this! ♥️Stressing out with 3 kids & pile of ironing! 😩😖
You got this !
I’ve lived in sober livings.. and they had outbreaks of bed bugs before I moved on. I was freaked out. They happen a lot

I am not what I hate more, Ticks or Mosquitoes.
Little Mr Moffett sat on couch watching his football game, when he reached for some grapes, was bite by a spider, luckily by Dr's was saved. *I'll see myself out*
I also read about a 6 year old girl who was bitten by a brown recluse and died. So sad. Just 6.
I was given Viral Encephalitis when I was bitten by a mosquito. I developed a fever in excess of 105°, and has to be placed in a medically induced coma for 4-5 days.

#2 I could not imagine being allergic to everything, poor girl.
This is creepy 😳
Thank God I live in the desert where we do not have ticks,.fleas or mosquitoes!

😩😣😣Im itching just watching this
First story sounds like he was allergic rather than just getting a bite. They are normally not so dramatically damaging.

Well I'm never eating pork again .
I think if I found worms in my eye,I'd stab my eyes😩😩😩😩

After watching some of his videos I be scared to fart without asking the doctor for permission
I love how the narrator struggles to pronounce the difficult medical terms. It’s endearing 😊
Uh... He regularly struggles to pronounce basic words as well.
Bed bugs fiasco
Peter Parker
No but I got bot by a spider.
Why is Shannan Watts picture being used as part of your thumbnail?!
Hi
Humans N Worms smh

And so many just love pork🤦keep eating it and see what happens
Freaking me the faak out man
I'm the 1K like 😋
Hate little bugs, hate deers too, they suck
Why deer? Just curious..
It's time to get a new narrator. This one's broke.
