  • Here I (Tanis Leonhardi; she/her/hers; of Seattle) talk through the Shaine Casas (of United States of America), 200 metre individual medley race at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France (time of 1 minute and 57.82 seconds in semifinal 2 of 2 on Thursday 1 August 2024). With his time he achieved fourth place in his semifinal and ninth place overall. I provide my take/perspective on his performance and contextualize it in terms of wanting to spectate this performance in person.
I watched the race on the West Coast branch of the television channel Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in the Seattle area (CBUT) after filming this video (delayed/prime-time broadcast same-day).
This is someone whose new English Wikipedia article (sometimes called new page) I created (with my user name, User:Tanis Coralee Leonhardi).
Here is a link to my video (filmed on Tuesday 11 January 2022 and published the same day) where I announced Shaine Casas as a new English Wikipedia article I made (batch of new articles I made in the 2021 year): • New pages I created on... .
