The key is still there even is you rejected the fort proposal. It's just that there's no fort next to that key in the middle of the desert. You'll just have to roam around a little more until you find that spot. That's what I did.
If you were like me and rejected the proposal, it is STILL possible to get all the silver keys. Simply follow his location has strict as possible. They are there.
@Glaikery Well it's one of many secret weapons in the game. It's not a good thing to try and ruin the surprises for everybody else. Put it this way, whatever weapon you get out of the chest, it's better to keep that info to yourself. oh and I got the Reaver's gun as well from the 50 key chest.
this doesn't make sense couse they say you get the dragonstomper .48 in the 50 key chest but you get that weapon from an other place ( I already have it without opening the 50 key chest)
hey, i have never opened the door where the first key is located before, I go in, open the chest, go to get the key and it isn't there, can anyone help?
