    The reactivity series is a list of elements placed in order of the most reactive at the top and the least reactive at the bottom. When metals react with water and dilute acid, their observations can be used to determine their reactivity. Group 1 metals have the most vigorous reactions. Copper, silver and gold do not react with water or dilute acid. The rest of the metals vary in reactivity.
