Wow! This felt like a personal reading! We were such good friends, been through a lot together, and let me tell you, when emotions evolved it went from 2-10 VERY fast. He was stuck in a rut, low self esteem and addiction. There were so mamy times I said "wow, hes just NOT getting it!! I know how he feels, that was never the issue, he kept using, and just ignoring that we couldn't move in any type of foward direction while he continues. We met a little over a year ago when he rehomed his dogs to me, which he didn't even want to do but had to because of a lot of crazy situations all at once including legal issues, and a baby on the way, and now he's literally in prison, but we've bonded so much over the last year, and now he's literally in prison since a month ago, for the next year or so.
