Tension was recorded a few years before the release of this album and was actually the demo version of one of their title tracks i don't remember lol but it was added as a gift to the fans, that's why Tension sounds quite different from the rest of the album and has that older dreamcatcher sound
I believe it was for „Good night“ which makes sense because they have a similar sound :D

@@Ami-333 I think its original _title_ was Good Night, but when it wasn't released, they eventually used the title for a certain _different_ song...
I'm not sure if it was originally going to be a title track or anything. Odds are (and I really am just speculating here), they just wrote a bunch of songs when they started preparing for Dreamcatcher, and because they were only releasing a couple of songs at a time, others took priority, and Tension sorta fell by the wayside until they decided to revamp it and release it on this album... 😁
It was a contender for a title track back in 2017 after their chase me debut. But the sound and lyrics didn't quite fit the concept they had for the mv so they scrapped it and had goodnight in its place. Now, they revived it, changed the lyrics, and made it a b-side track.

i stan a loooooot of ggs, but this album has to be my fav kpop album ever, it has everything in there and not a single skip, they ate every single song on that album

Jazz bar needs more attention and sorry that we didn't warn you. But honestly it's better if you don't know if a song is a big masterpiece, no expectations and the experience is the same as with us InSomnia (no one warned us too ;D).

Jazz Bar is so gooood. In The Frozen too, similar to its psytrance cousins "Poison Love," "Silent Night," and "Sleepwalking," which are all bops btw. Dreamcatcher does psytrance so well.
Correction, Sleepwalking is a Drum & Bass (DnB) song, similar to the last part of Dystopia: LM's Intro track, and the intro & last chorus of "The curse of the spider". Silent Night & In The Frozen aren't Psytrance tracks as a whole, only their last choruses/drops are Psytrance. Poison Love, while having a similar beat pattern with SN & ITF, isn't actually a Psytrance song. Psytrance tends to go fast (sometimes VERY fast) and hard-hitting. Poison Love on the other hand, is slower and has a more chill feel to it, despite having a pounding beat. I would say it's just an Electro-pop song with Trance influences.

Thank you for the reaction. Jazz Bar really lets them flex their vocals which I love. Their discography really is one of the more diverse in kpop, it's really a shame that I see many people shrugging them off as just this rock girl group (or anime intro music) when if you dive a bit deeper you uncover this treasure box of hidden gems like Jazz Bar.
I'm just gonna warn you in advance on your future album reactions on Dreamcatcher, since their 1st album they've been trying different genres but people think they only stick to rock when their bsides are so diverse and unexpected.
I hope you react to their japanese tracks.

My top 5 Dreamcatcher songs are Intro, Intro, Intro, Intro and Intro.
I think this is my favorite album in kpop, what I'm sure of is that it's my favorite 2020 album, this was featured in the top5 favorite albums of billboards, it really was a masterpiece. And Fifi i should warn you, daybreak may have the same effect on you as jazz bar. Also i know this is a weird suggestion, but i hope someday you'll react to the "good night" intro, it has one of the most mind-blowing guitar solos I've ever heard.

The first time i listened to yoohyeon's first line in "in the frozen" I immediately thought "This line would sound so beautiful with handong's voice so when in their last concert her and yoohyeon sang it together I freaked out lol

I can't remember the creator but there's this really wonderful remix/mash up of DC's 'In The Frozen' and BTS' 'Louder than Bombs' - I recommend listening to it even if it isn't a reaction video :)

Ha, Jazz bar is that song that makes me feel like I'm at a cocktail bar ready to get my sexy on with a drink in one hand, a cigarette in the other while elegantly twerking to their angelic vocals when in reality I'm lying on my bed eating pizza and looking like a potato..😂 😂 This song is by far one of my fave b sides from them along with Wonderland, black or white and July 7th. Glad to see you finally react to this masterpiece.

Dreamcatcher has no bad songs, and their vocals are top-notch, awesome, the best, *chef's kiss *, and that's a fact hehe.

I love all dreamcatcher songs but there are some I just absolutely adore, dreamcatcher said they don't know what a bad song is lol my ultimate group, most versatile group I know.

Dreamcatcher b-sides be sending you like that. 😂 There is no Dreamcatcher track that isn't snakery tbh and I wouldn't have it any other way. They have a million years worth of special clips to go through. I'm in favor of finishing this album but am also in favor of you watching the special clips for July 7th and Dami's Once Upon A Time. Because I did not expect the snakery from either of those!

In the Frozen doesn't have a choreo, as least not as of yet. They did it live at their Crossroads Dystopia concert (I won't link it because it wasn't supposed to be recorded, but there _are_ uploads of it on YT that you can find easily with a quick search, at least for now), and they did it as a vocal performance with standing mics, like when they did Break the Wall for their Lose Myself showcase.
I thought it might be Dami! But I’m still not able to recognise all their voices properly so I don’t wanna point out who I think is singing in case it’s wrong lol

I'm not sure, but I think you'll really enjoy Daybreak, which is also on this album. It's like Jazz Bar, but more toned down. I adore the melodies in it, so I'm excited to see what you think.

I’m also not really into EDM but for some reason it has become my favorite so from the album and one of my favorite Dreamcatcher songs overall. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because how mysterious it sounds.
I'm not into EDM either but Leez and Ollounder create such gorgeous texture and the soundscape is so open and spacey, I can't help but love them.

Ok, just to avoid snakery in the future, pls react to OnlyOneOf's "Instinct pt. 1" album. It contains 4 songs: libidO, instinct, byredO, and tear Of gOd. (however, the physical CD has 8 songs).
Be warned on all 4 songs, because they're soo good. Since you listened to libidO already, there are only 3 songs left.
"instinct" has this breezy quality to it and exudes strong SM vibes, especially NCT sound, influenced with 90s hip-hop beats.
"byredO" brings back the sensual quality of libidO, but is smoother and without the grittiness of libidO. The outro is chef's kiss.
"tear Of gOd" is my favorite track off the album. It's just so good I can't properly describe it. It has this transcendent feel to it.
Don't say we didn't warn you because we're laying it all out here: OnlyOneOf's discography is gold. XD
