I’ve never been this early lol. When you posted your thumbnail pic on IG, I suddenly got a rush of all these memories. I’ve been watching JK and you since I was in middle school. I’m 25 now 😭💗
It's so weird but I feel like Joe is slowly becoming a sage. This man is so damn goofy, but out of nowhere he just switches and boom sage mode wisdom comes out.
I really love that you guys are branching Junbi out. Absolutely love Junbi and I hope that yall get to expand not only in the States but also in other countries! Best love!
Thanks David for always putting out interesting content. I really enjoyed your guys chat and please have Joe on as a guest again. It's really intersting to hear about your business aspirations and growth too!!
This episode had little pieces of wisdom, thanks! Also, whenever I'm driving alone, I always listen to your podcast. It feels like I have dudes in the car just talking and chillen! I totally enjoy it! Look forward to the next episode.
Loved Hawaii as well. Lived there for 3 years and worked for the State of Hawaii when my husband was stationed@ Pearl Harbour Naval Base. We lived on Kanaohe Marine base. We had hope to retired there but the cost of living was too much. I found it very calming living in Hawaii. Congratulations 👏 🎊 💐 to you, David and Joe. I wish you both much success in your business endeavor.
I love to see Joe and David together, shootin' the shit and laughing at busters. I wanted to try this junbi drank they pushing. Two wise fools I respect.
ooh I like the topics being discussed in this one, it's so true though, people love to start rumours and there's so many easily influenced people out there who sadly get carried by the mob mentality sometimes.
I just ordered from Junbi (i love matcha) and i’m super excited that one is opening up in Hawaii. I’ll definitely check it out when i’m there later this year
There's a great book I read recently called "The Courage to be Disliked" and it's by two Japanese authors about Adlerian psychology. The whole book is a conversation between a Youth character and a Philosopher. A lot of what David and Joe and even in some prior episodes of this podcasts relates to it. A lot of people see relationships as competition or they always have to compare. They look at it in a hierarchy way which the book described as vertical rather than a horizontal way of equals. We are not the same but we are equal is what is one of the lessons. People always tend to live by expectations of others and worry so much about it whether that's family, friends, or strangers. Buy stuff just to look good to people all that. It's a great read and is almost like a self help book but not entirely cliche as one. It has you more reflect on your own life than be a book that goes "THESE ARE THE STEPS TO BE HAPPIER". Also David mentioning Lawrence Funderburke shows he's a true OG Kings fan hahhahah
Oh hell yeah , thank you podcast Gods , a year later but you answered my prayer 🙏🏼 , the best dual podcast 2 , everrrr. From your early episodes talking about friends, finances etc. Thanks David , Josep , Josep is that you pares.... ano ba.... Miss you fellas being in the same room 🤝🏼
i wish i was as free mentally as you 2, am not right now, but i hope i will be one day 🤍 i appreciate you Joe, i appreciate you David, thank you for this wonderful talk
Excellent interview. Love seeing Joe and David having discussions. Also, still love David's 'I don't give a f*ck' and the vid about the Broad Museum. Those were hilarious.
Awww it’s great to see Joe back here again. I love this episode! Good talk guys!! And congratulations on your new Junbi store in HI!! That’s so cool!! 😘🥳🤩🔥👏👏👏
I'm glad you touched up on JK crew again! Its been a while. I miss the group dynamic you guys used to have.. Side note: PLEASE cover recent UFC 273 Korean Zombie vs Volkanovski! ❤
hey David, hope all is well. I'm always excited to see your podcast on Sunday 👍🏽. can't wait to tune in after work. 😉 I'm curious, can you talk about fall out of love with something you were passionate about and what made you gain that love back... I'm into podcast and I'm always wonder if you get tired of it sometimes or is doing other activities keeping it funny.
Hey man. I am such a big Korean fan of you two guys and I love Hawaii too. I also have tried to move in there but didn't work well. I can't wait visit Junbi bro.
This was a great episode. I really appreciate the perspective of seeing Money as "choices". Especially we, as young men, we tend to bind our self worth to the income we make. So thank you for loosening that a bit. I must say one more thing... dude - you made the funniest fucking babbel commercial ever! Pierre is as a very appreciated french fuck hahah you're so creative man! Love to see it. Greetings from Germany !
The beginning is so true! When you don't see interaction or hear from them people start fantasizing stories and getting pissed at fantasies they made up in their head.its crazy.
David, Korea was never a "province" of China. Korea was a sovereign state and was never part of China. Korea was a tributary state of China for some time, but it's not what you think it means. Korea had their own kings and dictated their own affairs. You need to learn your history. And Joe is wrong when he says Korea was never a single nation. lol. After the Three Kingdoms era, Korea was a single unified nation for thousands of years since the Goryeo era. That's literally where the word Korea comes from. Joseon dynasty which came after that was also unified and single Korean nation. David and Joe have no idea what they're talking about.
I passed by the junbi matcha shop earlier tonight. It was like...Why on earth does that name sound so familiar?! And than boom! a few minutes later I was like: Oh shit that's the one David was advertising.
Yo David, the Korean "Checkers" Game you mentioned is most likely "Zhang Gi". Its like Korean Chess with Kanji Symbols on the circle pieces. Anyways God Bless bro and keep doin your thing!
Hawaii is not the same as when I was stationed at Pearl Harbor back in the early 80s. I left there in 1986 and there was no bridge out to Ford Island. Now there is, I cannot even imagine how Aiea looks anymore either. Also, my son is Kamaʻāina because he was born at Tripler Army Medical aka the Pink Palace. Never understood how there could be two places called the Pink Palace but there you have it.
Honestly, this is the only reason why I have been considering starting a CZcams Channel. I know there are many ways to make money and kickstart your life but it just seems like the pathways to do so have shrunken over the years. I just need the ability to have options. Constantly being forced to do something because its the only choice you have is not living. I don't want to make a CZcams channel, but if it can help me. Then why not?
Please watch the new Michelle Yeoh A24 movie called “Everything everywhere at once”. One of the best films of the year and worth discussing bc it talks about asian immigrant experience
As someone who's half Korean and black, I'll sometimes think "damn both sides of my ancestors got fucked up." Just how much generational trauma is that lol
I’ve never been this early lol. When you posted your thumbnail pic on IG, I suddenly got a rush of all these memories. I’ve been watching JK and you since I was in middle school. I’m 25 now 😭💗
Same here! Been watching them since grade 9, now I'm 24, time flies!
Omg same here! I started watching JK in 8th grade and I'm 24 now
I'm also 24 and started watching jk when I was 15. I wonder how many of us are 23-26. There's probably a shit ton of us that grew up on jk.
@@coldcube your definitely right! I think there's a shit ton of people out there that were around those years growing up watching JK & crew
I’m 30 😢 still crack up at their videos
It's so weird but I feel like Joe is slowly becoming a sage. This man is so damn goofy, but out of nowhere he just switches and boom sage mode wisdom comes out.
Not really - these are not wise ppl but at least you tried
@@NinaHProductions1 oh and you know that they aren't how? Do you know them personally? At least you tried too.
@@NinaHProductions1 damn you act like you personally know them.
@@NinaHProductions1 u can't tell a wise person if someone slap u around the head
He always had this switch man xD

Omg joe is back!!!! 😊
No David, WE are lucky to have you ❤️
Joe on the podcast is always good!
If it's easier, I prefer the single camera! I know that editing the podcast is much easier if you only do one cam

They just friends casually chatting. There's no need to be 100% correct and judge them for it. They aren't teaching or giving out facts just chatting.
a lot of technicalities, but concepts are similar
@@justinyu7 they're not "technicalities" and the concepts are not "similar." David and Joe are completely wrong about history and actual facts.

Honestly not a fan of matcha, but I still really want yall to come to Canada so I can try it & support you! wishing you the best
The korean board game your grandpa played is either baduk or jjangi.
