They should make a fresh look to these and relaunch them. I would love one!
Savage! I've got a couple questions if you guys would be badass enough to assist a budding wood-and-laser worker! I see you used masking on some of the woods, and not on others--why is that? Variations in wood porosity? Teach me oh gods of wood and game!
Ps. I will be working my way through your vlogs 😄
I'll absolutely will try that myself. Already have great success with metal powders in resin casting. But this will be a nice upgrade for any of my wood projects. Quarantine continues.
Quarantine still 7 months ago 😳?! Omg
@@patjohn775 yep, in Germany we had quarantine rules active at that time. But just a bit later they were revoked.
@@patjohn775 oh and I wrote this to all my comments as I was watching all the wrymlyfe videos from the beginning on.
Wat glue or epoxy did you use in the end?
@@dustinpaff I so far didn't use this. I slowed down on the hobby the last couple months.
Wery nice work. Could I ask what clue do you use so much liquid? I see only viscous clue and cant find liquid for metal inlay
i try to do this but dosnt works nicely, what kind of powder are you using ? seems to be pretty big particules of metal ? do you have any links please ?
They come from Grizzly. You can click here bit.ly/2U1XsBm to see.
@@WyrmLyfe If you don't mind me asking, after dripping the glue into the inlay, what is the spray used for before sanding it back and what spray is it?
@@soccer1freak4nato might be an accelerator, speeds up the curing process of the glue
My question is, I noticed you used an accelerant spray, some others don’t because it can make the inlay cloudy, have you had this problem 🦆💕
Great question! We tested this back in the day and if I recall correctly the only "cloudyness" we got was on translucent inlays. (Ex. glow in the dark, clear, etc..) Other than that we never ran into a problem! :)
@@WyrmLyfe I am now a convert 😂🦆💕
I know I am super late but what does that saying translate to?
The good old days, when there was only 16 comments on a video ;-)
What type of inlay technique is this?
Looks like filling with metal powder then setting with superglue/cyanoacrylate. You need a respirator + ventilation & protect your skin... can be hazardous.
Bring these back, you bastards
Would be good if you answered your viewers questions? 🤔🦆💕
What's your question, Pam? 😁
@@WyrmLyfe What glue are u using pls?
Did we get a reply? I’m would love to know what kind of glue you guys use
@@dustinpaff As a guess I would say CA glue (as it’s thinner) and an excelerant to set faster 🤔💕🦆
Apologies for wrong spelling lol
