    Very interesting "feelworld" and I agree, it's hard to edit something without a touchscreen 😉. Your location seems to me like you live in a box with a shelf but without daylight... 😂 I hope you go out more often and enjoy the colourful autumn in Iceland 🙏😊 And of course congrats for the great Deal🙌

    Hi. Nice video.
    I have this monitor too now.
    How do you move the vector scopes and waveform graphs to different areas of the monitor. My vector scope is in the top right instead of where it is on your video

    New to videography here, Mate I have questions about the battery. Which battery and charger for said batteries do you use?

    • @JonBear
      @JonBear  Před 2 lety

      Search for NPF 970 battery. Many companies sell them with chargers 👌
      As for the monitor I've used it now for many many shoots and it holds up well. Clients love to be able to see what we shot on the big screen

  • @miandrarasolofoniaina3202

    I love your vidéo ! :)
    I have a question though: with the atomos shinobi, you can select your input camera and profil and then apply the desired luts. Can you do so with the feelword lut7 ? Thanks

    • @JonBear
      @JonBear  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you Miandra! Yes you can import preview luts on the feelworld using the SD card slot on the monitor. Once you have imported the lut you can eject the card. I use this feature all the time. Hope it helps!

    • @miandrarasolofoniaina3202
      @miandrarasolofoniaina3202 Před 3 lety

      I think I didn't ask my question correctly, sorry. 😊 I don't know if you already know but with the atomos shinobi, there's a menu where you can select firstly your camera's brand (blackmagic, sony, nikon, panasonic,...) and the color profile that you are using in the camera (v-log, s-log, braw,....) then you apply the luts you downloaded. Is there that kind of feature (select camera and color profile before applying luts) inside the feelworld lut7 ?
      Thanks for your answer 😊

    Question: I don't mind my camera being heavier, but do you think a 7 inch monitor is too big for on camera monitor. All my research says that for on camera you want to go for 5 inch to 5.5 inches and 7 is meant for when your interview or when you don't want to do handheld. I know you said it is alright for you but I mainly shot wedding videography and then do some brand content on the side, this is first monitor and I am done using my small screen to focus, even though it been great for all these while. Is the 7 in easier to focus even without pinching it to check focus.

    • @JonBear
      @JonBear  Před 3 lety

      After using it a lot, I really appreciate the bigger size for nailing the focus perfectly. I was shooting a live concert and it allowed me to do really precise focusing in a handheld situation. That said, yes it is a bit of extra weight and I got really tired.
      I find myself wishing it was smaller when I pack it down in my bag. It also makes purring down my camera harder because of the odd weight distribution.
      So in the end there are pros and cons to consider. I would probably be happy with a thin 6 inch monitor if it exists

    • @lovefirst6157
      @lovefirst6157 Před 3 lety

      @@JonBear so do you think if I got a 5.5, I would still be able to focus better or should I just go for the 7 inches. I love handheld filmaking especially since I have the panasonic g85 with a battery grip. Would 7 inches make it to top heavy.

    • @JonBear
      @JonBear  Před 3 lety +1

      @@lovefirst6157 Go for the 5.5 and let me know how it is! The 7 is definitely massive and top heavy. I still prefer it because I do so much youtube and it helps to have a bigger screen when I am sitting far away from the camera. But when handhelding I find myself wishing it was less top heavy

    • @lovefirst6157
      @lovefirst6157 Před 3 lety +3

      @@JonBear honestly since I am ordering of Amazon, I want to try the 7 inch first because my phone is 5.9 inches and it does not look that big so I will try 7 inches first and update you on what happens

    hi! I love your review! One question, does it have an small speaker to listen to the footage? For music video clients I think it´s very important, thank you!

    • @JonBear
      @JonBear  Před 3 lety

    • @skanecarlos
      @skanecarlos Před 3 lety +2

      @@JonBear ouch... I think that any monitor should have an small speaker, and for me that's a con, something like a phone speaker for the monitor should be great!

      You’d need to be careful that the microphone does not pick up the speaker audio in case it has latency or sounds tinny.

    Does your tilt arm that came with it have two little plastic knobs that lock the arm into a weird position?

    • @JonBear
      @JonBear  Před 3 lety

      Hi Glenn! Yes. but they're designed to lock it so that it's still screwed tight even when you rotate it. Sometimes these plastic knobs lock into a weird position like you say. I just loosen then refasten until I get it right.

    • @JonBear
      @JonBear  Před 2 lety

      Hi great question. I believe it depends on your camera. On bmpcc4k I have sepperate settings for monitor in the menu. Here I'm able to completely customize the monitor

    How does it do on a gimbal stabilizer?

    • @JonBear
      @JonBear  Před 3 lety

      While it isn't heavy, the battery can be, and it has an awkward size. I wouldn't mount it on the camera itself when using gimbal. I'd probably mount it on an arm connected to the gimbal. But unfortunately I haven't used it on a gimbal myself so I cannot say from experience.

    Can I connect it to the 12V battery port ?

    • @JonBear
      @JonBear  Před 2 lety

      You mean power the monitor with 12v input? Or do you mean use monitor to power the camera with 12v?
      The monitor does not output 12v so if you want to power the camera with the monitor you need a dummy battery
