Hanover looks like pretty clean city. would love to visit sometimes.
It was, now you cant walk the city when its dark, full of criminals.

That’s not true you can walk in the dark, also as a women, BUT you have to be in the right spots. In every City on earth there are spots you shouldn’t visit when it’s dark and so are there in hannover

Sure. Well firstly at night you shouldn’t be visiting the Central Train Station “Hauptbahnhof” and the direct close area near it. but the Luisenstraße (I believe it’s called) is nice and the “Opernhaus” (opera) is beautiful. So basically behind and below the train station is bad. Also the steintor is not to great but overall Hannover is a great and safe city, especially the maschsee (at night only the front), overall the Südstadt and Zooviertel is pretty safe. And don’t go into the forests at night

it looks like Hannover was bombed 100% during WW2. The architecture looks new - except from few buildings
