That is a great price for the year and bike. You’ll get plenty of hours out of that motorcycle and the parts rebuild. The engine are extremely affordable about $55 for a top end kit you can easily do it by watching a video on CZcams, which will save you even more money on labor.
@SubscibeBikeGiveaway Riding allows the engine to warm up and remove any vapor. Idling in your garage only encourages the production of eater vapor and condensation internally. Ride your ride though. Cheers.
Glad you mentioned the 250 not being able to even bump start with a dead battery, hadn’t thought of that

It’s a great purchase, my grandpa loves his. I would recommend the seat concepts soft seat foam replacement!
Quick correction, the 250 is a 5spd. Not sure why Honda went with that but still love the bike!

Starting your bike in the Winter is not a good idea. You actually bring more moisture into the engine.
People ride during The winter months I don’t see an issue with it.

Both bikes are air cooled
250 is also counterbalanced
