He's in great form right now. He's really improved recently in making himself big. He always used to look small in goal, now he spreads himself much better, which helps hugely in close range efforts and 1-on-1s.
As far as penalty shootouts go, I feel he IS the specialist goalkeeper for this, as I find him significantly better than Alisson in this regard. Also see him very vocal in goal, potential Captain Material.
He has definitely got my vote & he couldn’t ask for a better mentor to watch & learn from in Alisson Becker & I really hope that he stays at the club for at least another two seasons and if he wants to go looking for 1st team regular game time and he would of definitely earned it if you ask me
Caoimhín’s footwork is incredible and his reaction time is like a cat. So cool seeing Alisson’s influence on him too. Just so proud to have another Irishman doing the business at our club.
Chelsea can’t even score against him in 90 minutes x 3 finals are absolutely madness. The last final, his composure and calmness are absolutely crazy. Jürgen Klopp said the right things. He’s the best 2nd goalkeeper.
