  • this "trick" is not recommended unless you have to use it
    or stuck somware
    --------------------------------------------------------------
    motorcycle status
    auto starter NOT RESPONDING
    START BUTTEN IS DOING NOTHING
the bike acts as if it have no starter motor
    -------------------------------
    how it works ?
    by shorting out the connectors
    on the celonoide
you bypass the start butten and the engine starts
    ----------------------------------
    once it started
you shuld kip the engine on and dont turn it off until
    you have reached the destination
    -------------
    attention
be sure to check coolant and engine oil
    before you ride
riding without enuf engine oil is a big big problem
    --------------
    why it happends?
    i found 3 causes
1 battery is weak under load and messup the air to fuel miuxture
2 the wires on the starter that lead to the butten had some water damage
3 the engine had some carbon build up
    additional simptoms
    --------------------------------------
engine starts raving up and down like a chainsaw
    without any thruttling
and return to normal after swiching the key to off and starting again
    ---------------
another way to bypass and start the engine without shorting
is to run down a hill in second gear
    then pull out the clutch
works the same for emergency start

the reason i use this is due to a bad voltage regulator the problem is gone once isntalled after market new part , works well

The ground cable terminal was broken we repaired it, and the start button does not work, I jumped the solinoid it works but the revs are going up and down, like crazy and it's on 4k rpm the bike is screaming and when I give it throttle it will cut out and it seems the throttle is not responding to my input

      What could it be?

@@HamzaShowai voltage regulator . test it it's cheap to get on the aliexpress and works well
      the description
sounds quite the same when my regularot was bad
this is caused by too low/over voltage / protection
for the computer ecu electronic thruttle control .
*** be sure your black ground wire coming of the voltage
regulator is not rusted . it must have secure contact to the motorcycle metal freme .. try cleaning it first .

the ktm voltage regularor have a black grounnd wire secured to the frame of the bike . if it is curroded
the voltage going to the auto-thruttle control is interupted ,
be sure to check it , (location under the fuel tank secured via 8 size blot .)
if problem presists the voltage regulator / stator might be faulty )

Ok so my 2015 KTM RC 390 will start for about a 1 1/2 second's then shuts off, continues to crank and crank will start for 1 second then shut off, sometimes can get it to stay running for about 3 seconds then dies??
    Any help?
Can't find videos in English or any at all..

check to see if your fuel flow is constant
might be an old fuel filter blocking the fuel
the same is for clogged air filter
both are essential for engine to kip runing
be sure to have fresh fuel in the tank before trying the next time
      if all fails then
      the problem is elsewere

@@MechanicsDIY so I had changed out my fuel filter but didn't think it was going to solve my problem after i blew through the fuel filter it had same amount of pressure, I changed out my oil pressure sensor, starter solinoid, spark plug and was continuing to do the same thing, blip the throttle and it died, tried to start it and it would die, it was shutting off when coming to a stop or trying to take off, but after I changed out the coil pack it started working normal again, checked all fuses and we're all good, battery was good, so I believe it to had been a bad coil and a rusted ground behind the coil pack where it mounts to the frame, took a bit of chasing down but the KIWI is running again 💯 thanks for your reply bro not many will.

My dumb ass can't find the ignition coil

    • @MechanicsDIY
      @MechanicsDIY  Před 2 dny

the ignition coil is black plastic that looks like a water gun
      under the fuel tank
just follow the sparkplug black wire and you can't miss it
      enjoy
