You just might be right! When I was making the list I was thinking gameplay, but Jake did provide so much entertainment and it seems entertainment makes the covers. He also really came into his own the final few rounds! Thanks for watching
As a physical media guy, collecting these are quite expensive. Currently I own 30/43 that are released. Kind of weird 44 and 45 aren’t announced yet when the rest of the new era dvds came out pretty quickly after the season. I haven’t even started collecting Amazing Race either! 😭
30/43 is a dream. Since this video I have bought 5. Ahh!! lol it is addicting. I hope someday it all gets released. Really a shame if they stop at 43. Amazing Race DVDs would be fun. I would love to own Season 31. Battle of CBS!
7:59 Candice did not get 20th place in Blood vs Water. Because of Redemption Island, Rupert/Colton/Rachel/Marissa were all out of the game officially before her, making her 16th Place overall. It's still weird she was on the cover in the first place though.

As someone who likes Candice, I was even surprised by her HvV return. Especially for the heroes (I’ve heard they had to switch her with Parvati tho to avoid black widow 2.0) Blood V Water return is an anomaly, however it kinda fits with the random returnees they got
I had a friend get spoiled watching China by the DVD cover. So I had him watch Pearl Islands to make it seem like the winner isn't always in the center. Kinda worked LMAO

Pointless fun fact: Since Amber is still top center in the All-Stars cover, Jeremy is the closest thing to top center on the Cambodia cover and the two of the other seasons that don't have winners in top center are two time winners, means that Tommy Seehan is the only winner in the first 40 seasons to not have a top center slot in the DVD cover ever.

Spent $40 on the Gabon DVD. In fact, I own all 43 seasons on DVD. The cover heads have always fascinated me. I always wondered who would've gone on seasons 8, 31, 39 and 40. and the Rupert middle thing always bothered me so much.

I had actually gotten out of Survivor for a while, and Gabon was actually the first season I had watched in full since All-Stars. What a weird way to get into. (Or in my case back into) the show. DVD wise I bought Pearl Islands and Amazon back not long after they came out, and then years later I bought the DVDs of all the seasons I had skipped, Vanuatu through Micronesia. Weirdly it made it so that those have become some of my favorite seasons. Few people love Fiji and Guatemala like I do. Anyway, great content. As a canadian Survivor fan I paid for Paramount Plus when it was CBS All Access, but when it rebranded that's when they limited the season viewing. I cancelled right after lol

@@BiemanTV Like Kelley in SDJS, Monica in One World, and Francesca in RI are questionable but those seem to based on the biases of like "Anyone who returns by the time the cover is made who isn't a prodcution persona non-granda will make the DVD cover", I guess their could be like attempts to make the covers more diverse, but like Ghandia could be easily swapped for Ted and make marginal sense, and like Cirie is already on the Panama cover and obviously belongs and like they didn't even put Crystal on the Gabon cover, and put Candice on BvW over Gervase (and Monica bizarrely so it's not a gender balance thing)
