Is it just me or this part 7:00 feals so deamn good when you receive the haircut?
Yeah it’s super nice getting the neckline cleaned up!
I have a feeling this video is going to get a lot more views 😂. Thanks for all the info, my kids with the bowls on their heads thank you as well.
Bowls on their heads 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
You're great at explaining the logic of the techniques to this non-stylist. Thank you!
You're so cool and awesome! I love how gentle you are, most stylists are unnecessarily rough!
Oh thank you 😊 and #truth . I think it's important to be gentle- clients are people not objects. If I hurt them it doesn't matter how good the cut is, I've lessened their experience with me.
If I go to the barber and ask for a lineup clean up I get charged like 25
mines included just go to a ghetto barber
In my country a haircut for a 14 year old like me costs 1.5$
Is it crispy tho is the question
yeah because a haircut is a haircut .
You do a great job thoroughly explaining things, unlike other videos I’ve watched. Thanks so much.
Coronavirus brought me here! I have to keep up my pixie cut 😭
Eboni Wright me too. My pixie has gone mad. Resisting picking up the clippers! Stay well
Can’t you believe it’s been a year

Thanks for taking the time to make, edit, and post this video. I appreciate it. I fucked up my hair still but your video was great. I look like a toad now that my head is completely buzzed because I kept taking off more and more but that is not on you. That is 100% me being a moron. Thanks again. Time to go eat some bugs, I guess.

@@reg9339 Wrap your fingers around the back of your neck to create a guide. Then, follow the clippers along that guide, making sure the edge remains parallel to your fingers as you cut.

Thank you for a detailed close-up, of your technique!
Thank you so much for sharing this. I can finally give my husband a even better hair cut.🥰
Thank you for sharing this, it is a phrase that is often read below the videos of Yt.
You may not have noticed it, but those who post videos of this type on Yt certainly do not do it to give you a gift, they do it for the views and possibly for the monetization of them.
So so nice dia good job

What clippers are you using please?
Thanks for your video
Nice illustration.
Man your really good at this, what kind of clippers are those
Thank you Laura :)
Hey Laura. What is the brand and model of your trimmer? It looks like it cleans the hairline very well. its very close to the skin. It does not leave any small hairs. What product would you recommend me to cut my hairline as close as possible to my skin?
Thanks in advance for your answer Laura.
I am wondering this same thing as well! I saw another person comment saying they have the same “shape up trimmers” but I was hoping Laura would confirm what type of trimmers they are?
This is the best tutorial I’ve ever seen and I loved learning the reasoning behind the techniques! Thanks so much Laura!!
Your good, and a really gorgeous stylist wish could get my haircut done from you
Raj S fucking simp
Wot the do u mean?
Simp
Just like mowing the lawn, piece of cake.
I’m going to use eyeliner for the back hair to keep a straight line. Thoughts? Lol
I was thinking of doing the same thing. The back for me is the hardest part.
Thank you so much I fixed the back of my neck.
Thank YOU!
Can you do more haircut videos please. Great video. You are lovely.

Great video! Stay safe and God bless!
I love your videos thank you! Wondering if you have any tips for me as I was doing this around my sons ear and cut his skin behind his ear on his head (not the ear) 😣 was it my angle was wrong? How do I avoid this. Thank you so much !
No answer as you can see.
lovely tks
He had a tapered hairline at the back and you squared it off... I don’t understand why you did that. That’s gonna affect his next actual haircut. Is there any reason why you couldn’t just re-taper it a bit?
I definitely could have tapered it off but we chose to square it bc I wanted to make a basic video for people who might not be experienced enough to create the taper. Just trying to keep it simple here.
some people just dont know to pull their asses outta their mouth before they speak or in this case, type.
It’s actually a legitimate question. That square edge is gonna take a month and a half to grow out before he can get a proper tapered cut again, which defeats the purpose of a touch up. Also some barbers will square off the back of your hair without asking, even when they can see it was previously tapered. Just sayin...
@@Normy2323 Yes, legit question that I answered. What you and the guy above perhaps are assuming though is that he doesn't want the square back, and that I gave it without asking. Tapering isn't a basic skill and I wanted to show something that someone at home could do who doesn't have previous experience. Also, it won't take any time at all to grow out. I could go ahead and taper this the next day and it'd be great.
All good, your initial reply made sense, I think Ben Sharpe’s comment was directed at me😂
Great video
Does anyone know what machine she is using ?
-Thanks
What exactly do you call this? I’m trying to get a haircut tomorrow but I want it in this specific way
She's just cleaning him up
It’s called a shape up
Steezy xo oh ok thanks
Thank you 🤸♂️
What trimmer do you use?
Lawrdy Gurl. Oil those clippers!
This is a great tutorial. Thank you! Can I ask what kind of clippers you are using?
Oh. I see the answer below...
Did you get the trimmer zero gapped?
Hello .. what size blade in mm would I use for my neckline .. I’m a female and the back of my hair is about the same length down to the nape as your model.. thank you
If you have a full range of blades just start with the longest one and see if you like it. My longest blade is 25mm which leaves your hair just long enough to grab still. See how that goes and then try a little shorter if it's not what you like.
Laura LP ... ok thanks so much .
Man got the Majin mark on his neck
Do you ever blow dry mens hair in order to style or change texture?
Yes I do, I blowdry all my clients hair to varying degrees depending on their natural hair texture and the style they want. However, I also try to cut my clients hair so that it looks good when they do absolutely nothing to it too, which is what most do. It's a great styling tool and will step up your hair game big time once learned how to use it :)
