Hey Taylor, just watched this old video. Sorry about the fawn. This spring a buddy of mine was crossing a field in his truck to get to his tractor. Felt a bump and got out to see what he ran over. You guessed it, a mule deer fawn. He was pretty bummed. Thanks for the ride along.
I'm a little late to the party but I just found your channel a couple days ago. It's nice to see another lady doing some farming. What I do for discbine blades is carry about a 3 foot piece of steel pipe that will just slip over the blades on the tractor with me and if the blades bend slip the pipe on it and pull it up or down accordingly.
i am always amazed at how unaware young people are about safety. even with the tractor off, you are relying on the hydraulic system to hold up "stuff". hoses can give up without warning. a simple piece of wood could save you if you propped it under the equipment before working on it. it is the dad in me.
farm accidents are way too easy, but also way deadly, no job should be done without taking all the precautions. which includes locking breaks and shutting motors off and dis-engaging equipment. and I might add 'especially when your working on something by yourself
I was going to ask you if you come across many fawns and then you mentioned that you have hit them before. Definitely easy to do as tight as they stay put. Just jumping around watching several of your videos. You do a really nice nice job!
You are a great worker Tay, when I had that style discbine I carried an electric impact gun with me but my new 13 ft New Holland discbine has the quick change knives it’s nice. Wish I could find a trustworthy dedicated worker like you for sure.😊
Dear the little deer ha would be asleep in the long grass and be hard to see Reason mower blocked up was forward speed was too fast not giving mower time to clear Taylor 😃
Thanks for sharing. ain't that the way it goes? if it ain't one thing? it's another. But it all goes hand in hand of a life of a Farmer.. Your in Maine? you have some lovely landscape there.. from what I could see. I'm in Michigan.

Taylor please be careful and the tractor rolling is scary enough just hearing about it
2:50...... hammer?..... that's the funniest hammer I've seen.... we call it a ratchet here...😂
Great video Taylor! Love your enthusiasm for the farm life but please be careful, farm accidents happen so quickly! 😊😊
Thank you so much! Accidents do happen quickly, I’ll be sure to be more cautious in the future. Thank you for watching!!

Ground speed was maybe too high for the pto or cutter speed, slow down speedy! Thanks for awesome vlogs Taylor!
stay safe and have fun.
That looked like a bad day.
Cool channel just found it and subscribed, carry with 15" crescent wrench works wonders on straightening blades
Hi, I’m glad you like it! That’s a great tip, thanks!

It always something! Thanks for commenting!
@@tayfarms your welcome..
I’ve had that happen a few times, not fun
I would always shut the tractor off you never who might jump on it and do something
also, cut with a little more throttle, and less ground speed
A little late now, but in the future use a large pipe wrench to grasp and bend the blade up.
Cool, thanks for the tip!
Hello kitty
do u not remove the rocks from the field
