The College of Arts and Sciences Introduces Embedded Ethics Certificate at USD

In response to the growing ethical complexities accompanying the rapid advancement of technology, the Department of Philosophy at the University of San Diego is now offering an innovative 13-unit certificate program in Embedded Ethics. The certificate aims to equip students with the tools needed to navigate and address ethical dilemmas inherent in emerging technologies, like artificial intelligence, robotics and big data algorithms, which are reshaping our world.
