This was the most brutal thing I've ever accomplished in this game, given how poorly bow handles this fight...
BUT, LIKE I'VE TOLD PEOPLE MANY TIMES: Bow's biggest strength, while it does no damage, is its flexibility. There were a ton of things to learn in this fight to make the most out of Bow's kit, and eventually there was a solid answer for everything the boss could throw at me. Obviously it doesn't compare to other weapons (Primm Hunter cleared faster than this), but Bow has an answer THAT WORKS for everything, and I'll stand by that being why it's such a well designed weapon (even if it does no damage and has ani-lock out the butt).
The fight itself had a ton of stuff to manage, I ended up using 5 different weapons and 2 sets of units.
Fatale Reyaar for general DPS
Blastor Flugel for every PB
Evolcoat for generating PB on the first DPS check and p3 bubbles
Codeck for tanking the failed first DPS check
Abandac Flugel + Potency Floor units for throwing rocks during intermission phase
I had a lot of timing issues on Slayer sub, and I wasn't critting anyway, so I swapped to Te sub which gave a drastic (and better) shift in how things were being timed, and gave me an extra PB on top.
A lot of this fight for Bow comes down to predicting what moves are going to come next, and knowing what you have time to cast while preparing for them (UC.Dimray, C.Dimray, AI Normals, SC.Flex, BC/BCF). Finding spots to fit in AI enhanced C.Ceaseless was a huge increase in DPS, and learning better OTS angles so that C.Flex wasn't randomly piercing 3-4x instead of 5x was also super important.
ALSO the Brave Combat immediately before break had me freaking out, I ended up trying to sacrifice some DPS so that I could get it back in time for break, so the gameplay right before break ended up being really funky, but I got blessed with a FAT CRIT IN RETURN
In general, I still stand by this being Bow's worst fight in the game (except maybe Relyn, that fight is wack), but it's VERY FUN and the weapon really feels like a full kit in the fight. It's kinda weird.
Thanks to everyone that supported me like the folks from the Braver discord, Kat's discord, and Uni's frame data lessons, all of which helped me out tremendously, and massive shoutouts to my best friend encore jump.
also if anyone even read this far, i had lower in-game graphics quality because i was streaming at the same time as recording prior to this clear and max graphics were lagging my encore jumps so sorry that the dfa hand model looks like dough
