I bought an Affirmators deck to use for gifts. I punch a whole in the corner and use a ribbon to attach it to the gift. It's been a hit with everyone so far.
My heart just broke! I CANNOT believe you're getting rid of the Bohemian Animal Tarot! It's definitely my favourite multi-animal deck. Tarot of the Divine, too?? My poor heart, lol. X
I love the Cantigee oracle. I'm so grateful to have it in my collection. I'm working with it seasonally. By that I mean, I literally pull out the cards she has intended for the seasons and read her teachings for those cards for the season. I also usually hate circular decks, but I made an exception for this one.
WOW...wild unknonw, i bought it a long time ago and only started to connect more deeply in recently years, it is so intuitive! Since I loved it so much, I bought the pocket version, but the imagine is less impactful as the size feels like toy. I went back to this standard size and just loved it so much. Now I ended buying the 1st edition of 2012....
I find the Enchanted Tarot 25th anniversary edition much easier to use when I trimmed it. It was my first deck (in a different edition) so i was even able to cut off the titles. But yeah, it is massive.
I was just about to buy the anniversary edition of ‘Enchanted tarot ‘ a few weeks ago when I noticed the newer version. It was a bit more expensive ( Amazon) but is more like poker deck size, lovely card stock, and much much nicer backing design.. AND it’s borderless! I’m happy with my choice😊
I love the look of that Ghost & Spirits Tarot!!! I'm gonna have to add that one to my wish list!! Also adding Joie de Vivre Tarot to my wish list! Herbal Astrology too! Omg so many I have to add lol!! It's funny because you said you like the bright colors whereas I love the darker colors :)
The wake me up tarot looks so beautiful! Been wanting this since you did you’re walk through. That’s when I started to get into tarot and watched your series. Your videos are so thorough and you make tarot so easy and enjoyable to learn. I bought the the gentle tarot because you and that’s my favorite one thus far. Am planning on getting The Lord Ganesh Deck through Blue Angel cause I would like to have the new card stock, plus am planning on repurchasing The Shapeshifter Oracle also by Blue Angel Publishing, they will be my purchase for mid 2024. What a unique group of Decks you have in Purgatory. I'm sure you'll be finding good homes with these decks!!
If they ever made a smaller cantigee oracle on less warp-y card stock I’d buy it in a heartbeat. I love the images so much and the guidebook is something special but it can be hard to use.

As your watery twinsy, I've had my doubts about the Oceans Dreams oracle, too, but it's come around for me. Not a go-to and not what I'd pair with literal ocean-themed decks, but taken by itself or paired with another Danielle Noel deck (I like using it with Yogic Path), just as something spiritual, it's been magic. ✨ Can't bring myself to part with Tarot of the Divine either, even though I rarely use it. I dunno, I just like it! But, ooh, that Modern Nirvana oracle has been tempting me, so I'm curious how you get on with it if it comes out of purgatory. This was so fun, Lisa--thanks for taking the time to haul all that out of your drawer for us! 😃

So interesting! For me, the Trionfi della Luna opened the Deviant Moon for me. I fell in love with the Trionfi, and then I could understand why people love the Deviant Moon. I have quite a number of the decks you mention (Enchanted, White Sage, Ghosts and Spirits, Tarot of the Divine, Enchanted Soul), and I wouldn't let any of them go :-) I'm always happy to hear your point of view, and I admire your strength of mind. You let go of what doesn't nourish your soul anymore. I'm not yet quite there and maybe never will. (Perhaps one factor for my possessiveness is the difficulty I have in getting new decks - living in the Middle East, huge shipping costs and loooong waiting times until a deck arrives... they mean so much to me and I couldn't replace any of them.)
I gave away my White Sage tarot indie :-( I really love the cardstock on that deck althought I know it's super thin. I have been keeping my eye open for a copy on ebay but haven't seen one yet. If you are willing to post it to th UK I would be willing to take it off your hands :-)

I have the same issues with the Ocean Dreams oracle. I also have the anniversary Enchanted Tarot deck, but I love mine. However I am thinking whether or not to get the new smaller one. Just like you, I can't shuffle mine. I would have to spread it out and pick a card, but that just doesn't feel right for me.
With the Ocean Dreams, is it the keywords you get nothing from or the artwork or both? If it's the keywords, trim them off and see what happens. If it's the artwork or both, might be time to move it along or just use it for pretty artwork if you want.
Lisa, pretty new your channel, so i hv been doing alot of bingeing. Do u sell all the decks that are set aside to rehome on a different channel or is this something that u do privately?
I typically will rehome decks, when I'm ready, on my Tarot Trade Tuesday posts in my Facebook Group :) I only rehome occasionally though since I don't want to be too quick and regret the decision! :)
How do you sell decks? I've got a ton in purgatory. I originally used a used Bookstore but they gave me nothing and they sold them almost full price :-(
You don't get a lot back from used book stores or metaphysical stores - but for me in Canada - that's easier than trying to ship to people - cuz shipping up here is expensive so not worth it for mass market. ;) I've previously had good luck on FB Marketplace, Craigslist etc - but that also is time consuming lol. Mostly I rehome my indie decks in my Facebook Group on our Tarot Trade Tuesdays, gift, or donate.

Regarding Ocean Dreams Oracle, I think it's a better deck for meditation and pathworking than for divination.
