That game with five overtime periods was so awesome yet nerve racking to watch as a lightning fan, I remember starting the game at dinner time, and staying up till like 11 watching. I had practice that night an very 5 minutes I was glancing at the screen to see if anybody had won 😂 it was awesome

The other day I saw someone on the Penguins somehow end up with a Wild stick jammed handle-down inside of his visor. He finished his shift with a captured enemy stick literally in his face. The network showed him going off to the bench as they went to commercial; when they came back they showed his bench all pointing up at the Jumbotron and laughing hysterically.
Also, incidentally, three goals on 2930 shots equals a save percentage of 99.898%

so I am newer to watching NHL hockey been watching the whl for years. And so I was watching the 5 overtime game clip and I was sitting there thinking that's doesn't seem right so I had to go ask my dad and the shoot-out rule only applies during the regular season so I learned something new. In the playoffs, you keep playing overtime till someone scores

10:32 when I played nhl 19 playoff mode, I’d play on rookie and the timer being 20 minute real time thinking the periods would be less than 20 minutes game time if I picked anything else. So in 20 minute real time the most goals I scored was like 50. But in 2930 shots I’d have like 110 goals maybe more
