Hey everyone, thanks for watching this wow classic video on weird paladin gold farms! It takes awhile to do these but it's super fun for me, so I'm super glad to see people enjoying my content. For this video, I made my way to DM East to do some jump runs, since I couldn't really find any videos online showing how to do these quick. A lot of people doing these jump run will in dire maul east will use only exorcism and take a long time, where actually you can do some melee swinging on both bosses to make this run as quick as most classes, and you'll be even quicker if you're ret spec (retribution) since you're do a lot more melee damage to the boss and also have Seal of Command.

you can also go to the corner when the wall starts to break before the imps spawn and the flowers shouldnt aggro at all, at least thats how i do it. good video though

Pro tip: if you enter the dungeon and immediately keep running, and you follow this route, the patrols will be perfectly aligned to keep walking without stopping.

Probably you are still in line of sight of them!

Do you think it would be worth it to pick up mining to do this run over the herbalism-lasher runs?
If you've got herbalism, I'd probably stick to lashers. I'll upload a video sometime soon about doing insane quick lasher pulls, I can do a full clear in 4 minutes, and then just reset, and after 20mins you get locked out and go chill for 40 mins!
You could do both.
what do I do if he's standing in side the corner of the fallen pillar and starts casting sacrifice?
Just takes more practice, and luck to hope he doesn't start casting right there. I will learn this!
Sorry for the delay! In that case you run further behind the pillar to LoS him, or just bubble it if it's really that bad

Is it best to have herb/alchemy and farm dm e flowers/chests or maraudon flowers or over all better gold pr/h to be miner/ engi and farm dm e jump runs for rich thorium veins or maraudon for mithril veins and killing stone packs for solid stone/elemental earth and make sappers to sell ? Over all I'm asking what is the best way to make gold as s paladin in vanilla wow if you not bis geared ?
How much gear do you need before doing this farm? I wanted to start doing these as soon as I dinged 60, but was wondering if I should get some raid gear first.
You can do it with any gear but you'll be a little bit slower! I don't have "insane" gear, only 110 spell power in this video, and a 2h from Molten Core that no one else wanted, so plate with high sta/int, a little spellpower and a 2 handed weapon with something like 60 dps is enough!

Took me 10 tries before i managed the whole run as ret, sacrifice boss was the hardest part for me.
Yeah it's the more unforgiving part for sure!

Have been trying this for two days and have gotten the melee attacking and moving to hit him and back to the wall down perfectly. But it seems I still get Sacrificed at random when moving back during melee hitting him. I get his health down a bit and get a few minutes into the kill but then I get randomly Sacrificed while meleeing. Which is fine, I can bubble out of it but then about another minute after and Sacrificed again... It's really really annoying as the method works perfect apart from this.
That's really weird. I had someone who had the same problem in the past and after seeing his video, he was just moving "out" too much to auto, maybe that's your problem? Record a video and let me know, I can take a look!
@@Tedjyt Thanks Tedj! I decided to take a break and get more gear first anyway. But I was staying behind the pillar at all times. Only thing I can think of is If I was letting him get too close as he can sometimes glitch through the pillar slightly when doing the melee attack.
I have another question though... is Sacrifice a set amount of damage? E.g 300 every second for 10 seconds?
If so, I'd probably only go back once I hit a certain HP cap in order to have a better chance of living through any Sacrifices that he managed to get off, as long as you keep on top of topping your health during the fight ofc. Would this help do you think?
Maybe that's the problem, you're letting him get too close! As for the damage, I've never bothered checking, but what I can say is that it won't matter much, because it's all RNG. If he only casts sacrifice on you, you might be safe, but during sacrifice he might crit, double attack, or even put a shadow word pain, at which point in almost all scenarios, you are done for, so I personally wouldn't recommend that avenue, but instead practicing not getting hit by them!
I think it's what you said though, you are probably letting him get too close! (You can swing behind the pillar, you don't need to even show yourself)

Hello Tedj i wonder if you can do a video for lasher runs from DM East, please..! i got a Pally but i cant do to much right now, and i want the epic mount but i dont have to much good gear..! And i wonder if yo can say wich addons you use? please
I think I'll leave the addons video for a little bit later, don't have time to do everything haha. Maybe next week I'll do lasher video yeah although it's not very hard, the basic concept is you want to use consecration with Ret Aura, and then swap to concentration and heal if you need (this is with low gear, with good gear you'll chain pull many packs)

Okey I see the problem! As a fully new paladin, you'll need full plate gear and a shield to do them easily. It's still doable with the gear you currently have, but just a lot harder. Equip a shield and any 1 handed (even unarmed)! That defensive gear is why you can't last until you kill them. You should aim for at least 5.000 armor, and then you can just consecrate them to death with ret aura!

I’ve tried jumping to the the ledge and move all the way to the corner of it when the imps spawn but they are still able to hit me. Did blizzard change it or am I doing something wrong?

Tedj I actually did what you did in the video except all of the plants were very close to me on the ledge. They finally reset but when I jumped back down to down the imps they stayed there this time and didn’t reset. Had to die and corpse run back to mine the nodes

Haha, the waterfall directly to the left outside of SW (in the map) where some defias are, you need to go through the hill
What addons do you use for gold/hour and instance counting?
Farmlog for gold/hour, and it can also count instances whenever you enter!
I sont get one thing tho...ehy u dont herb? Its 30x dreamfoil and gromsblood in 1hr and its nice money
You can also herb yeah, I am actually herbalist, but in this video I just wanted to show the jump runs for people who are miners :)
Would you consider demonslaying on your 2h? Or spell power? How about lok+ therazane's for more spell power?. I'm still practicing the melee weaving. If I nail it, i guess 2h hits vs strictly using spells with more sp will come out on top
I don't think Lok + Thera would make up for the 2h damage you can do by melee weaving, but maybe? Also depends on the spec, if you're deep holy (like you) I'd advise max spell damage and a 2h (and btw maybe demonslaying is actually better!)
@@Tedjyt sounds good! thanks for the quick reply! I think I'll test demonslaying first since its cheaper - too bad you lose the benefit in the last fight since you are only fighting when in wolf or tree form but it should def help against zevrim
@thejvera no problem man, I make videos to help people, wouldn't make sense to not answer them! You don't lose the benefit btw, even if Alzzin goes tree/wolf, you can still Exorcism him, which means he's still considered a demon, so the enchant should work!

so i started doing this, had a few successful runs but the thing is the satyr boss keeps bugging through the base of the pillar at where i am supposed to hide to melee him and ofc that's the best time to cast sacrifice, like no kidding i paid prolly around 50g repairs on that shit for 1 crystal and god knows how many runs/hours, if anyone can help me out as to why this keeps happening i'd be very grateful
I can help you, that's the whole point of my videos! For starters I think practice makes perfect, I ran this dungeon at least 200 times on my priest, probably more like 400, so I'm already *very* aware of his pathing from back in my horde (yewwww) days.
Secondly, maybe you could record a small video and show me so I can give some tips?

Alright I checked it. The problem seems to be you want for him to get too close to you in the pillar before you start running "inside" - because of how melee leeway works, when both targets are running you get like extra range in your attacks, so you can start moving earlier behind the pillar and you basically hit him "through the pillar". Look exactly at 5:15 in my video, in slow-mo. When he comes back to me, before I don't wait to swing, I'm already running back and my melee hit swings when im already inside, this means he never *has* line of sight to even start the cast. Does that make sense?

Unfortunately, this farm does not work as it seems. Unless you are very geared. I tried it for approximately 3 hours and the goddam boss keeps bugging or so. His pathing randomly changes sometimes and he will just run literally into the pillar and cast 2-3 sacrifices in a row and even if I stand at the exact same line/position as you in the video, I get sacrificed. Got him to 30% at max but then I had my 2nd sacrifice that just goes through LoS and fucks me over... it's so depressing to see the boss act and move different from your video.. I thought I can finally make some money solo

Can you no longer do this? The first boss follows me to the back of the pillar everytime. I cant get him to reset....
You can, the trick is to *touch* the wall next to the pillar, that's how you get him to go around
finally got mining up to 275 and now i already died twice to sacrifice thanks to fucking spellbatching
like it feels like im out of los but i get fked anyway. really disheartening
It's a matter of practice really mate! Don't risk too much, you see a lot of times there I feel like I'd get hit with batching so I just don't go for a melee hit. Eventually you'll get the hang of it too! The only reason why I got it so quick I think is because in early Classic I was playing a priest and did this at least 200 times, so I respect there's a lot of people who will take some more tries than me as Paladin but don't get demotivated!
