If anyone wants to buy anything that I'm selling you can do so on Jawa: www.jawa.gg/sp/176426/andys-pcs This is ep 2 of flipping pc's please subscribe for more videos
Tip for flipping pc's: Most of people are fortnite kids that heard that Nvidia is the best on every aspect. So even if there will be less performance with an NVIDIA Gpu than a AMD Gpu still buy the NVIDIA Gpu. That will most likely help you get a buyer.
i can't agree more with you, the people who buy these computers are those who don't know much about computers but all they know is intel and nvidia is the best, personally they are wrong but that is the word that's been going around since forever
I had a Soyo AM3+ motherboard that lasted MANY years. I ended up giving the system to a student of mine to motivate him to graduate. I said if he did I would give him a pc. He did it. I thought Soyo might be out of business but I see lots of Soyo boards on Aliexpress. One thing to add, if you can get them cheap enough are extension cables. I got a few sets of Phanteks cables for $6.50
I’ve used that case 3 times it’s great for the price, flip that front fan to intake and it increases the cooling tremendously 2 on exhaust and 1 on intake and you’ll be surprised at the improvements on temps.
Well done on the video. I do have one major suggestion. Check out the PSU cultist list and pick out a more reputable power supply (C tier+). It's the heart of the PC, and if it fails, especially without all the safety features, it could blow the rest of the parts, if not worse.
Yeah if I was to get into this business and vlog it, it wouldn't be about the profit, the vlogging on YT would pay off at some point making it a full time business. This video was to me a great way to start out, keep the vlogs up and one day you'll make it big!. I subbed
Great to see someone chasing his dreams! Just a few tips: Lower the music volume when ur talking and use like a $30 clip on mic. Would improve the content 1000%.
Also, if you don’t already, scour Facebook marketplace and offerup, some people have no clue the value of their PC’s. You can find some insane deals, even better if you negotiate
I’ve been selling on Jawa for a little over a year. Just keep pushing. I used to sit on PCs for weeks, and while it DOES still happen from time to time, I’m at the point where I’m sometimes selling within 3 days. Just keep selling stuff and getting reviews. You’ll start to sell faster and start making bigger profits. Awesome video, dude
I flip on marketplace myself and have 5 pc’s for sale right now, maybe 90% of people who contact me waste my time and 2 to 3 scammers a day with the old I’ll pay you when I get a confirmation tracking number, the scammers are exhausting. Good to see a young guy grinding it out. I use the r5 5500 a lot as it’s in par with the i5 12th gen and way cheaper I can pick those up for $65 with a cpu cooler on eBay new ! I don’t ship but I’m considering using Jawa as what I see selling on there is trash compared to what I build.
You don't have to stop flipping pcs, you just have to find good deals on marketplaces like facebook mp, jawa, eBay etc. Plus pc flipping is entertaining to watch so you may make most of your money from youtube in the long run. Take care, brother ✌
Loving all these pc flips! Can you show us in a video how you clear the computer before you sell it? I assume you log in and download games to show fps but curious how you reset scything. Thank you!!
Yo bro, I got some tips for the pc flipping "journey" So first off, I'd recommend you use either 1. Older (as in older generation), cheaper Nvidia gpus or 2. Buy used nvidia gpu's like the gtx 1080, rtx 2060 super, rtx 3060 and then sell them. This is because people that play Fortnite prefer nvidia gpus. And obviously, Fortnite is like the most popular game, so you'd get buyers quicker. 2nd tip is to use cheap rgb fans (something like a thermalright rgb fan 3-pack, those usually go for 10-20 bucks and you get 3 fans, which also do a good job in cooling the system), this is again due to people having a preference in pcs with rgb. If you got any questions, just lmk🙏 Also can't wait for the next episode since I also kinda want to get into pc flipping
Yes, definitely have a section (even if it's just a quick overview) where you go over what the parts are and where you got them from. I'd say for most people that's more interesting than the build montage.
Idk if you needed that huge ass glob of thermalpaste but yanno no harm done I guess at least you didn't forget to add thermal paste, now that would just be hilarious and I'm sure it's happened to some unfortunate individual
If your looking for another option, not very techy but you could try out carpentry like building things such as bookshelves, desks etc. The is actually quite a bit market for it. It takes awhile but you can sell them for thousands
Getting started is rough. The sketchy people you're running into is pretty common. I'm sure you know that. I'm sure you've watched other channels. Keep you're head up, hold to your principles!
Yo great video you can’t up in my recommended and was interested again amazing video I’m hoping to buy a pc the next couple days I found on offer up I play Minecraft and I’m starting to edit what graphics card and mother board do you recommend??
One suggestion regarding an aesthetic consideration. I've seen some flippers skin their PSUs with carbon fiber contact paper. They remove the sticker with the specs and relocate it also. That way if there is a cut out or the PSU is visible through the perforations in the bottom, the white writing or other colors it doesn't stand out.
People don't lowball because of what components you choose, they lowball for the sake of lowballing, meaning no matter if you go with AMD/Nvidia/Intel, you will always have people trying to score a PC for a lower price. This is especially true on FB Marketplace.
Nicely done man! This is an excellent way for a young baller to grind his way to a sick setup! I started flipping last october and have since used flipping to get a free upgrade to a 4090 so it can definitely get you the PC of your dreams if you play your cards right! Keep it up bro! The idea to resell GPUs is an interesting one for sure. I'm guessing the profit margins will be a bit tighter than a normal good PC flip but the increase in selling speed may more than make up for that. It definitely is just a slow market in general so you're not alone. AMD vs NVIDIA making or breaking flips comes down to two main factors: how well AMD is received in your area and how well you present the value in the listing. I always compare the AMD cards to the NVIDIA card (like if it's an RX 6800, I'll mention that it has similar performance to an RTX 3080) and I have not had a major issue with selling AMD cards in builds. In fact, the majority of PC flips I've done have been AMD. Although, I have really good aesthetics in my builds with custom themes on most of my flips so that could also make people less likely to care about it being an AMD card because it just looks so good that they don't mind. Bit of rambling, but hopefully there's some takeaways in there for you. Keep your head up!
Came back to this video as I saw you were wondering if you should just sell gpus or flip pcs. As one of jawa's top sellers i can tell you without a doubt pc flipping is the way to go, the market is just moving relatively slow right now and will pick back up again towards the holidays, keep up the good work and don't lose confidence in yourself.
you know why your pc isnt selling fast? because you installed the ram and ssd first before the cpu! how dare you!? i am just joking. great video, great intro! keep it up!
Don't get down, one thing you need to do when flipping is look into used parts...you can get S T E A L S buying used and then cleaning up builds, adding rgb etc and flipping them.....the cheaper the build the cheaper you can sell it for and still net a profit.
Hey man im new but i flip pcs too so here are some tips Try to sell a rgb mouse and keyboard with the pc cuz most people will like that offer also include a windows in it and people will swarm you
You definitely need to include more about sourcing the parts either before rhe build is completed or during the build process. Don't give up flipping, use an Nvidia gpu next time. I do think its sad people dont want AMD build so much but does seem to be the way. Yoy probably wabt a GTX 1660 or RTX 2060 or RTX 3050 I would consider getting a monitor keyboard and mouse to make it a complete setup.
i dont flip pc`s for a living BUT. recently I sold my old PC by adding peripherals to it. mouse, keyboard and an old acer 60hz monitor. u'd be surprised by how quickly it sold just because of the RGB lights. 400€. i7 4770 with an rx570. it was on a ddr3 platform. so yeah. people don't care if its ddr3 or 4. they see numbers and brand. get used 6th i7`s with rtx cards and watch it get sold instantly. make sure to have rgb because that's what attracts customers. good luck with the flipping and keep making videos on it. maybe this could lead to a better career!
