He built my parents house in Massachusetts. Sarah was in Animal House and Caddy Shack among others and hung out with John Belushi and the SNL crowd. Unfortunately she got heavily into drugs and had to go to rehab which is when my family met her. She left Hollywood for good after a very promising start. An incredibly rough scene Hollywood is. Carrie was fortunate in that she had a brilliant mind and a gift for writing....RIP🦁
She had Bipolar, that she didn't know about, and went undiagnosed, which she self medicated with drugs. As a psych RN, we call that "Dual diagnosis", and is a difficult problem to treat and to live with.

Yet another example of intergenerational trauma with all the validation seeking behaviors, codependency, neglect, and discard - Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds: 2 narcissistic people selfishly bringing children into the world as their permanent source of narcissistic supply, and the textbook results: Carrie's severe bipolar disorder and addiction, and Todd's chronic normalizing and enabling the toxic family dynamics.
She was a really talented writer. I really enjoyed her book "Wishful Drinking".
