I really can't understand why this woman and her courageous ongoing journey hasn't garnered a whole lot more comments. She is so articulate and well spoken, insightful and honest! She is the kind of person I could see being a friend, even with her baggage. Good luck Yvette, you will be in my prayers!
She's a fighter and I hope she is doing better now. Sobriety is the hardest thing you'll ever do but it is worth it.
Wow. She is an incredible woman! I hope so bad that she finds her way back to getting help. To have been addicted this long and have dealt with all she has and STILL be so well spoken and insightful is just unbelievable! She could help so many people in recovery.
As a former addict, I can relate to Yvette's story. I detoxed off of Heroin cold turkey. I opted against methadone because I didn't wanna be dependent on anything. Detoxing was hard, about 2 1/2 weeks of pure he'll! God bless Yvette. I hope she will see the light and want sobriety again.
