This is just good Midwestern metal. This band's first album was highly rated alongside similar sounding 'stoner' metal bands when it was released and I am looking forward to this release. Good to know I can hear TMGT and Origin both in my hometown. Yeah Topeka sucks but it sure as hell is better at metal than your town.
If this had an appropriate guitar (and drum) sound, it would be really nice. Who the fuck thought this shitty crunch is good for anything? And why the drums are so... weak? Bad production or it's intentional? Only the vocals sound right here.
I think it's the Mixing^^ and if the Bass would have a bit more middle, it wouldnt be bad. But also the Bass drum and and generally everything except the Crash and the other iron things(i don't know the English word for becken...) is a bit weak... Live would the be really great, i guess^^
I think you guys are out of your minds. You're judging music production from CZcams. I run a music magazine in Chicago and had the honor to be sent this album in it's entirety, and the production is out of this world. I believe the album is recorded and mixed all analog and it sounds beautifully mixed. This album has soul and loads of power.
Eric Graves of course it's possible that justbtge quality from CZcams makes it sound not so good, but since this is the only thing we can hear till yet... But if you say so, it wouldn't be bad to listen to the other Songs of them^^
I just discovered this band about two years ago, and was heartbroken to learn that they are no longer together. Such power in their musicianship!

Good Sound, but this voice. Too strange for my ears.
It's not bad, but the vocals kind of surprised me. They're very unfitting.
