Phil Coulson The heart of the MCU. He not just an agent or director or an a avenger. He a legend. Without him there would be no avenger or shield. Without him there no MCU
In the framework, Coulson didn't join shield and Hydra ruled the world. I would argue that was 100% the biggest change in the framework and the reason shield lost.

Amazing tribute. What I love about Phil Coulson is that his superpower is his humanity. It's how he stands against the bad guys and inspires the best in his team. He is the ideal leader, a pillar of strength, decency, and integrity. I find it hard to imagine the show moving forward without him. Perhaps they'll find a way to keep Coulson around. If not, I believe the show stands a better chance of surviving the absence than The Walking Dead without Rick Grimes.

yep its been a month or two since amc announced andy's departure after s9. meaning rick's dying so much for that secret. i want andy/rick in the series finale, not as a ghost like everybody else is now. the walking dead without rick is like saying, its ok we still have teamdaryl bc soon maggie's going as well since lauren's leaving so if we make it to s10. danai will probably leave then bc of her contract on marvel blackpanther2/avengers4

What proves this even more is that the one time he forwent his greatest asset, forwent his humanity, the consequences were unparalleled. He gave into his anger with Ward time and time again and the end result was a lot of death and Hive showing up and nearly destroying the world

He wasn't a superhero and he didn't have to be. Coulson was an every day hero, constantly saving lives and doing the right thing

I understand why the writers would think that it was an poetic ending, but Phil Coulson deserves more than that; he deserves a happy ending after a long and joyful life. I love him so much and just... I just want him to be alive.

I unfortunately think Coulson sadly needs to die. I mean he’s had one hell of a life with the ppl he loves. Daisy and Jemma and the others will continue his legacy. I just think his whole arc as being a leader and surrogate father to Daisy and a leader to the others has come full circle. I mean if he survives I feel that all of season 5 with Robin and the prophecies were just filler.

And I'm sure Clark Gregg would be chuffed in knowing that his portrayal of Shield Agent Philip J Coulson was so perfectly executed that he is now a household name and loved all across the globe. Ugh, this moved me so much. Coulson was always such a strong hearted individual who stood as the shield of the world. .....I wish the Avengers knew what he did while they did their work....I know that they somehow made it not canon...but....they idk....shouldn't they learn the truth one day?

Paul Coulson is a man who everyone should look up to and aspire to be like him in his selflessness, sacrifice, never giving up, living for his team and never losing faith in his friends and colleagues, following his principles in the most dire situations.
This is a "magical" video, like him, he has a very special place in my heart.

I've watched all seasons up to 6 multiple times over (I think 4 all together now 😂) and every time it's harder to watch him and fits go, they are family, and I'm so grateful that I got to know them! 💕

I'm shocked that the first song used isn't from the show. It fits so well with the melodic themes heard in the main theme and 'Crossing into Darkness' amongst others. Amazing choice.

I watched this and not even lying I cried from like minute two to the end. Like ugly crying.
Coulson is my comfort character. I have really bad headache. (Like daily from january and I wasn't in school from january until I started two days ago but I still have headaches haven't had a day off, (I have a hydrocephalus which is kind of the reason for these)) and watching aos and Coulson has really helped me with everything

Very nice Phil Coulson tribute video! I truly hope they will find a way to bring Coulson back at some point. I know they won't do this, but I have my own preference on how I believe they could and should bring him back. I imagine Phil and May stepping onto Tahiti as the rest of the team leaves. Less than a few minutes later, May and Coulson are in the middle of discussing how to enjoy his last days on earth when, without warning, Coulson disappears, leaving May alone, confused and disturbed not realizing that Coulson has just become a victim of the Thanos snap. When we revisit the agents of shield next year, we find them in the middle of their search for Fits. May never rejoined the agency. The agents believe Coulson died peacefully with May on Tahiti as was plan and, grief stricken from this incident, May has gone off the grid never again to rejoin the agents of shield. The audience finds this to be only partially true, However. May did not plan on rejoining the team, but she is currently engaged in her own personal search for Coulson to see if he came back following the resolution to Avengers 4. The season revolves around a search for Fitz and determining whether Coulson came back or not, along with the threat of some season villain. I believe this would be a believable way to bring Coulson back to the series. He could come back without his life ending condition, as though being brought back after the Thanos snap acted as a sort of rebirth for Coulson, ridding him of his terrible condition and voiding the arrangement he made with Ghost Rider.
I think all of the members of agent of shield are part of snap because it all happening after post snap and it would confuse the story line if one person survived
