I knew I should have gotten him all those years ago. It was $20 and now I see him for $30+ in comic shops

It says the regular version is 30 dollars (shipping not included)...
That's weird. All I could ever find was the masked Daken. I saw the masked one everywhere

I told myself I'd only get this if I saw the masked one in stores and what do ya know, my local toy shop restocked the whole wave (where I also got big time spidey) today. This figure is so cool. My only concern is the foot joint. Kinda wish it had the pivot. Other than that this guy is awesome.

I found three of these this morning! FINALLY! I bought 2 of them, one of them I opened. Up until now I'd only owned the mohawk variant, which I don't like. This masked version is better in my opinion and I've taken several photos of him fighting against my original Marvel Legends Wolverine. Awesome review as always man
Sick I finally got both of them, and I did mod one body for all three metal claws.
aswell as havok, union jack, yellowjacket, black suited spiderman and forge.
Damn, I need this stupid figure. I was actually impressed with this figure. Its really fun to pose/play with. The paint shading and the tattoos are great, like you pointed out. I'm sad they killed him off in the last issue. His claws are bone, its just the inside wrist claws that were coated with the Muramasa blade for that metal look. But then Logan cut em out. That's a very basic rundown. I have all Daken's issues. Lol. Anyway, great review, man!

yeah marvel legends are hard to find in oregon all they have are variant iron men..ive seen klaw but i bought both dakens online and have some sent to me from my dad....all i have is daken,bucky cap,klaw and iron man from 2012
Daken does just have bone claws. I beleave he added the the blades assassin creeds style on to himself which are actually mystical. I think they came from the silver samurai and later on Wolverine detached them from his son.

i went to walmart got the regular masked daken hide a the bikes and opened the box and poped the head off and put it on my varient
Wolverine ripped out the bottom claw which was the only claw that was bonded with thw muramasa blade from the muramasa sword

i believe they are shipping out "revision" cases that have the masked version, but who really knows.
I don't think Daken had metal claws, except for the underside claws that were removed.
The masked version is going for only $14 on amazon.

the sucky thing is that when ever im at astore with the nonvarients (tru the disney store exc) they have every figure besids the non variant taken and big time spidey... its annoying as hell
i don't understand why they just can't have claws made of hard plastic, even the Marvel Select Wolverine got those floppy bendable claws.

i dont follow the comics so maybe someone can explain to me. does this guy have logan's healing factor as well? if he does then wouldn't getting tattoos be a moot point? his healing factor would just heal the scars and the ink wouldn't stay. or maybe i don't know how tattoos work in the first place. :/
He does have a healing factor, but he has an addiction to the drug heat which alters his healing in a bad way.
