My favourite part of this game was when Cal nearly kills him, but then lets him go because killing is bad, after having slaughtered literally thousands of other Imperial human beings.

I think Denvik wasn't expecting the blaster pull, so he assumed he could alert attention to his office with his blaster shots
I think He knew Jedi would rely on their lightsaber mostly for defence. He didnt expect Cal being more '' pragmatic ''. + 95% of jedi were killed by blasters other 5% was mostly Vader or Sidious.
He is a high ranking officer he could have had a modified blaster with unpredicteble firing speeds (like Boba/Jango Fett blaster). If he could land 2-3 shot normal jedi would have been killed.

I love how, without fail, everyone in an officer's uniform (be it the navy, ISB, or COMPNOR) in the Empire feels untouchable and completely superior in everything they do...until they hear Vader's name. its the style of your outfit and/or hair. drip just means air of cool and/or hot for fashion. doesn't necessarily need to by in the current style or trend just that you need to look good in it

I think that’s because he’s on the verge of snapping and right now he’s trying to stay composed or numb. He did lose his master and friend after being betrayed. Trauma like that would make him look pretty robotic. Is that what you mean?
