David Ahern- While I think the fight is a farce and I think Conor knows he can't win, I certainly do not think that he has no clue. In fact I think Conor is a genius. He really has very little to lose. If he gets extremely lucky, and Floyd has aged a lot in the last 2 years, he becomes a legend, but if he loses, which he almost definitely will, he will still have made a fortune and is there really any shame in a non boxer losing to one of the best boxers of all time. He will then simply challenge Floyd to a rematch in the octagon which Floyd would not accept, giving his fans a reason to still praise him.

I see one thing. Since its a boxing fight it should be more balanced wearing the mma gloves. It will be Mayweather 50% bc of his sport and 50% for mcgrgor for boxing with the gloves he used.

Half of Mayweather's defense is keeping the right covering, with MMA gloves there's a much smaller target area you can aim for, Mayweather would never allow himself to be open for McGregor's devastating left.
