Lol I wasn’t joking, he tests all the people he donates to in the movie. A doctor fails the test and instead of donating to him he assaults him (well deserved though). He’s making sure that he’s not donating to horrible people in case they are hiding who they really are.

He’s testing Woody to see if he’s the slow to anger, kind, loving, and peaceful. Will starts to feel bad for how he had to do it but then reminds himself why with the 7 names of people he’s killed
It’s not about how he had to do it, it’s about getting to the point where there’s no turning back. That’s why he had to remind himself the names

doesn't necessarily mean he is a good guy. He was at work, so it would be unprofessional to verbalise anger. I've worked this type of job and calls get recorded. Also, the colleagues beside him might hear and report him. It would have been more genuine to test him outside of the workplace.
woody is an acting legend
I once frequented a bar where he worked as some sort of assistent bar-tender or something. The memory is a bit hazy though.
He is underrated.. he could have played more roles, bigger roles .. meaningful roles.. I don’t think he cares much.. he is a pretty chill dude.. but i agree 100% he is a brilliant actor

It's very hard to be defissiant in an area that involves communicating with othr people...some of us have had it done on purpose...the hidden pain , shame, and emotions we keep inside is something people dont see because we keep it bottled in..it hurts more than any pain I've ever felt......Especially when their may be somebody you would like to casually talk to but feel like you can't because you can't see or one of thx other 4 senses is deficient.....anyway, sad movie....
Why was he that mad over the meat?
He's testing the salesman to see if he'll get mad. If he shows he's a good person, he'll give him "a gift" later in the movie. Watch it, it's great.
