Pro Tip: I’ve been collecting every members Korean ALBUM photocards and got used to knowing which one is real vs. fake. Always check the top and bottom of the cards. You should feel a slight bump. These are called stems. These are caused by dividing the photocards from the sheet they are printed on. When they are fake, the photocard is smooth all throughout because they are printed individually while real photocards have a slight bump due to them being printed on a big single sheet and later divided.

Yup! I also collect their photocards and it is such a lifesaver because sometimes you can’t really tell if they have stems or not. when that’s the case i’ll run my finger around the edges to feel for any bumps. thankfully though, the stems are very visible 99.9% of the time! 👏
Here’s some extra help for finding the fake ones: The fake ones look round and have a more bubble like shape whereas the real ones have sharp rectangular shapes. Also when looking at them you can see little bumps on the side of the real one whereas the fake ones are clean. I hope this helps :)
YES i differentiate fake vs real card based on those bumps. but i heard nowadays, fake cards are starting to have those bumps too... it'll be wayy harder to tell if we're buying ptc online

Buying a lot of albums won't guarantee you getting all the members either, many get duplicates instead. So the last resort is to buy from others who are selling the pc's I guess :/

Not one of the fake cards had that see at 6:41 has two on either side and at 6:58 this one has one in the middle top and bottom. You need to examine closely or run your hand over it.

ami another trick especially with persona ones is too look at the back and look at where it says "map of the soul" on the real ones there is more space on top and bottom and on the fake ones its more cramped and closer to the bottom! 💜
Tips for finding fake ones compared to the real ones: to start off it helps if you vaguely know what the real ones look like! sometimes they have a certain look etc the MOTS:7 cards have a bit of a cloudy filter on them. 1) Over saturation and lighting: sometimes the fakes are way too saturated/lighter/darker than the original cards. If you look carefully sometimes the colouring of the cards is off 2) Text: sometimes the text on a card might be misplaced eg way too close to the bottom or the edges 3) Corners: a lot of official cards have rounded edges, the fakes sometimes have only slightly rounded edges or the cut isnt perfectly round/ slightly jagged instead. Other times they can be too rounded 4) Bottom and Top Edges: the edges of real cards typically have little bumps which indicates it was apart of a batch of cards when they were mass producing the albums in factory

also a note, if the photocard is a matte texture(like mots 7 and persona) they'll have 2 little tabs onthe top and the bottom left from the cutting, so you can identify them if they're newly pulled out from the album but these little tabs wear off over time so it's hard to tell of the photocard has been kept for a long time by the seller
I heard that the real one doesn’t have a smooth edge so for the real ones if you look closely for some of them you can see tiny white dots(idk how to describe) on the edge. That’s how I tell the fake from real. I could be wrong tho
For album photocard is pretty easy to differentiate real and fake. The real one have bumps on the side when you feel the side of the cards. It’s been like that forever.
The best way to tell the difference is by looking at the top and bottom of the card. Real cards will have a small tab on the two short sides. Since they card are designed so that when they are cut, the top and bottom edge has a tiny, tiny tab on the side.
Here's a tip: remember how she said to look at the edges? 80% Of the edges of the fake photocards are always rough. The fake photocards also are slightly larger in size and the picture is more zoomed in (as she said in the video). And the fake photocards are more bubbly at the edge and not as sharp as the original (the original still contains some bubbly-ness but it's sharper) So beware!

I personally think it does matter a bit - buying fake merch doesn't benefit nor support BTS in any way, your money goes to people who are clearly making fake merch and benefiting from it, by using BTS and their name. While stating it as "real". If it already says it's lomo card/fake then I guess it's okay because atleast they are being honest! Buying merch because you want to collect many cards, from resellers is okay, as long as you don't get scammed because that's just sad :( But if you want to support BTS directly, buy their albums. That way it'll help them in the charts and to get awards! 💜
It's actually quite easy to tell if you look at the photo quality and details. Fake cards often got cut off some small details (ex: edge of the ear, hair, shirt...etc) compared to the real ones. The scale are different, too. And like the video has pointed out, the color of fake cards are always a bit pinkish. Those fake cards are actually sold on Chinese shopping websites at a really cheap price and they're named "unofficial cards" themselves so you can tell right away that it's fake. But if you are buying from seller and they really plan to scam, pls remember to always ask them for videos/video call so you can check it yourself.
정말 옛날 영상이지만,, 스캔포카(가품)에 속고 구매하시는 분들이 안타까워서 글 남겨 봅니다ㅠㅠ 정품 포카는 위아래나 양옆에 뜯긴자국이 있어요..! 초등학교 교과서 뒤에 붙임딱지라고 되어있는 만들기 종이들 뜯어내면 생기는 자국처럼 정품은 뜯긴 자국이 있는데 스캔(가품)은 똑같은 포토카드를 대량으로 생산하지 않기때문에 뜯긴 자국이 없답니다..! 이게 지금으로서는 제일 확실한 구분법이에요..! 다들 참고하시고 더이상 속지 않으셨으면 좋겠어요!!ㅜㅜ

모조품은 포토카드 선(?)이 완벽히 처리가 돼있는데, 정품은 여러 개를 한 번에 수백 수천 개를 만들어야하니까 살짝 뜯는(?) 그런게 보이네요 ㅎㅎ 잘보고 갈게요🥰

영상에서 언급하셨는지는 모르겠지만, 정품 포카의 위와 아랫 부분에는 연결되어 있던 포토카트들이 티켓처럼 뜯긴 자국이 있어요! 위아래 각각 2개씩 뜯긴 자국이 보입니다! 가품에도 있는지는 잘 모르겠네요... 근데 3:32 초 보면 잘 보이네용

정말 옛날 영상이지만,, 스캔포카(가품)에 속고 구매하시는 분들이 안타까워서 글 남겨 봅니다ㅠㅠ 정품 포카는 위아래나 양옆에 뜯긴자국이 있어요..! 초등학교 교과서 뒤에 붙임딱지라고 되어있는 만들기 종이들 뜯어내면 생기는 자국처럼 정품은 뜯긴 자국이 있는데 스캔(가품)은 똑같은 포토카드를 대량으로 생산하지 않기때문에 뜯긴 자국이 없답니다..! 이게 지금으로서는 제일 확실한 구분법이에요..! 다들 참고하시고 더이상 속지 않으셨으면 좋겠어요!!ㅜㅜ
