Very annoying and frustrating as the plot develops into a 7pm TV soap drama for aunties when the audience shout, "Tell him! Tell him about that vicious woman whom you treat like a sister! Tell him she threatens you and tell him to stay away such an evil, scheming woman. If she finally gives up, she won't let others have you but will destroy you, such accusing you of molest and spread fake rumours about you. Come on! Tell him!"
I really do like Jaemin, but please talk to Nami. Don't leave him in the dark, thinking he's the cause of the breakup. People like her have crushes and do horrible things, but don't have the courage to confess and get rejected.

But the plot develops into a 7pm TV soap drama for aunties. The character just won't tell the other party (Jae Min telling how vicious that girl is) and Jae Min gives up so easily. And Nam I doesn't try to find out why he behaves like that but threatens that if you let go of my hand, we're finished. Aiyah, please don't try to defend the scriptwriter.

She was too calm and quick with her tactics, so seeing how snake-like she is, I'd not put it past her thinking this was her first time doing something like this. I'm glad he regretted her, but my question is, how is Nami not noticing?? Does he just think he's the problem and reason why all his partners are breaking up with him?? I hope these questions find answers in Part 2 coming in June.
😭 Their situation is similar to Balgeum and Ji In Ho in "Boys Be Brave". The difference is that Jaemin is under threat while Balgeum is ashamed of being poor.
nah here jaemin is very hard to trust character and i feel like he wouldn't even continue even if no one threatened him because he will never trust nami while balgeum its just a self-esteem problem.

If SORI really tells everyone in the two companies that JAE-MIN is applying for he can kiss goodbye those job opportunities. He is too young to have to face such a burden. 🤷♂ For Balg-Eum is NOT "just a self-esteem problem". We don't even know if he is studying something to have a better future later on like the leads... or if he is just working his ass out to support himself in a day to day basis with so many different part time jobs. Specially a guy in love likes to provide for the guy he likes as good as he can. We see how he struggles to pay for the nice restaurant diner he invited In-Ho... and in the end he does not have enough money to pay for it in full. That is not a self-esteem problem, that is a financial problem. He almost spend his entire savings on that meal... for the guy he loves...!! There is not easy solution for a financial problem... so I am looking forward to see how the story of that couple ends too. Cheers...!

That has nothing to do with self-esteem... that is 100% real. A self-esteem issue would be if Balg-Eum were financially cover but still think of himself as not being good enough to be with In-Ho. Balg-Eum is struggling to survive on his own all alone. He knows himself and his situation very well, so choosing NOT to spend any more time together with In-Ho is his way to ease his burden altogether. I knew what this girl would do when she showed up and disrupted their date. The way she looked at Jaemin already demonstrated this, I hope Nami finds out why Jaemin said all this to him and put this girl in her place.
작가 지망생이라 글을 쓰고 있는 입장에서 보면 재민이가 이해가 돼요. 캐릭터 내면을 조금만 들여다보면 취업 준비에 밀린 공과금에 가스까지 끊긴 상황의 재민이라 자존감이 많이 떨어질 수밖에 없는 상태고 솔이의 협박이 말도 안된다는 걸 알면서도 재민이에겐 충분히 큰 문제로 다가올 수 있을 것 같아요. 우리도 연애를 할 때 이 사람과 얼마나 갈 수 있을까 라는 생각을 하듯이 재민이는 이런 연애가 처음이라 작은 일에도 불안해지는 거죠. 내가 취업도 못하는데 이러고 있어도 될까? 이런 걱정 안하고 하고 싶은 걸 하는 남이가 부러우면서도 자신과 다르다는 걸 느끼고 흔들리는 거라 마냥 비난할 수 없는 것 같아요. 전 재민이가 안쓰럽고 이런 상황이 안타깝고 그러네요.

I thought the girl will be their supporter in the last ep, she's annoying. I can't keep up with her attitude so rude to order him not to date nam and threatening him is so frustrating.
yeah I wish she was nice, I'm kind of tired of the one-dimensional villain female character in a bl trope... it's always either an ex that still wants one of the leads back (and that's her entire personality) so she does some vile things, or some girl that has a crush on one of them and tries to sabotage them as if that would accomplish anything. must they give girls such bad rep every time?

Ahhhhh this can’t be the end. Not me already imagining where else can the story go. So short but so many emotions. Messing with someone future is not ok I’ve never disliked a character so quickly gives you the impression that she does this all the time. If this is the last episode, wow the acting, the chemistry they have top notch. The cinematography, artistry and music selection props! ❤
The acting is absolutely superb. I'm entranced by it, and I do truly hope they get a full fleged show because they are truly great actors and have a special way of transmitting the characters' emotions. In particular Hoolim Lee, I can't take my eyes away from him in the more tense scenes.
I think we need season 2 but timing should be 30 min . Even if it's only 4 episode. There are many which should be cleared between them. I don't think it's a better ending. Hope director will consider audience's feeling. And yes both actors did an excellent job. They have perfect chemistry. Would like to see them in more dramas.

La madre de Sooho (seme), agarró el teléfono de su hijo y se cambió el nombre a "amor ❤", entonces Chaeyoon (uke) creyo que Soo-ho tenía pareja, ya que ellos solo eran compañeros sexuales. Y bueno Chaeyoon confrontó a Soo-ho, y este último hizo lo mismo que Nami, llamó a su madre. La morra esa sacó las garras. Realmente la producción está haciendo un buen trabajo a pesar del bajo presupuesto, la química entre los actores es increíble, así mismo las actuaciones. Espero que gracias a este proyecto, grandes empresas se fijen en estos dos talentosos chicos, porque créanme su actuación se siente tan genuina. This short series was so good. The actors were amazing and their chemistry perfect. I’d really like another episode to give them a happier ending. Also, give these two a longer length series, they deserve it.
Jae Min is so selfish! Nam Yi has proven himself to be devoted and monogomous to Jae Min but Jae Min still needs reassurance. It has to be hard for Jae Min being alone for so long that he has alot to undo since he learned to be lonely. My heart breaks for Nam Yi because I'm sure people liked him solely because he's from a wealthy family. Ugh, Jae Min get it together! Even though this was a short 4 episode mini series, it was so powerful and memorable. The ending is raw and realistic and will stick with you. Sometimes there isn’t a happy ending and reality and fear of the unknown gets in the way, but hopefully only temporarily. The acting was top tier and I’d love to see the leads in a full BL series in the future. Amazing job to everyone involved. 👏✨
I'm glad someone said this because I mostly see comments about how they want a happy ending and I would want one too but I also understand why it ended like this. I feel like people don't want realistic endings which I find odd.

Or that maybe some watch BL to escape the pressures and stress of reality and everyday life so they look for a happy ending. I love fluffy BLs but I also love the realistic ones that sometimes have an open or not so happy ending too. It’s just preference I think.

I seems like many are not satisfied with this ending, I mean we all prefer happy ones, - however, I loved it!! 💯 It was real and heart breaking. It portrayed real life dilemmas and sometimes having to give up your happiness, because of outside (or inside) pressure. It happens. Thank you for a lovely, but also sad, experience. I hope we get to see more of the lead actors together, their chemistry is fantastic 💖

Sad ending is ok if that makes sense. This doesn't make any sense. Just cut off. Like something unfinished. End of budget or ideas or anything. Hanging off without any normal explanation or reason, is not a sad ending, but an amateur move from the director. He wanted something which hits different than the usual bl.s but not executed well.
@@H-Judith I understand your point. To me, it didn’t feel unfinished as he does let go of his hand in the last scene. How I interpreted it was that the pressure he felt with finding a job and the threat from Sol weighed heavy on his heart and so he made that decision. But they are continuing with a part 2 in June actually. So I think they heard all the feedback and are continuing their story, which I’m excited for because their chemistry is so good.

Wow I wasn't expecting them to go for the realistic end. They really did a good job with this, I was genuinely distraught over this. Hopefully we these guys in another drama, preferably longer.
Wow... I found myself 14 years ago watching the Episode 19 of the Korean TV Drama "Life Is Beautiful"... with Kyung Soo's mother threatening Tae Sup with exposing him as gay to his parents... leading to Tae Sup breaking up with Kyung Soo shortly after out of fear. Later on he was able to make a joke about it, saying: "I felt like the poor girl trying to steal the Prince" as reference to their families different social status. If I compare the legal situation of the LGBT+ community in Korea nothing has change at all since 2010... and even Human Rights Watch has released alarming reports in the past years on bullying and harassment in the entire educational system; and that despite of having in the capital the "The Seoul Ordinance of Student Rights" since 2012 which offers protective guidelines against discrimination on the basis of gender identity and sexual orientation. Another Korean TV Drama "Love With Flaws" from 2019 shows a case of forcibly outing the elite university student HO DOL and the unbelievable rejecting reactions of all of his classmates. Image... those student are the future of that nation...!! That drama deals also with a suicide attend of the young gay guy WON SUK... who ends up together with HO DOL. So... with all that said already... is not surprise to me seeing how terrified JAE-MIN reacts to the threads of being forcibly outed if he does not give up being with NAM-I. That is the reality... and not the pink milk bubble world most Korean BL Series portray. And therefor I am very grateful to this production... daring to include such a topic... even if is going to be really difficult - perhaps impossible - to deal with it in a deeper way with such a limited screening time for the Episodes. Many viewers may think that JAE-MIN is a coward choosing to break up with NAM-I... but considering his financial situation and being at the very beginning of his working career a coming out would be really mean his civil death at such a young age. While in the BL pink milk bubble world everything is possible in the real world is not, so... unless JAE-MIN wins the lottery is hard to picture a proper way out of this. There is not one Korean production dealing with this issue completely, so I am really looking forward to see what the script writers prepare for JAE-MIN to move on with his life, and not regret making the choices he is making. Once again... The actors Seungjin Choi and Hoolim Lee enhance the value of the entire story very well with their tender chemistry, and altogether is really joyful to see them together. The breaking up scene has been presented in a very calm way... with a direct and civilized way in the dialogues between the leads. Even during this controversial fight moment they don't curse each other, or use a vulgar vocabulary. Just the opposite: the talk in a determined but also reconciling way. The same goes for the dialogue between JAE-MIN and the girl SORI at the coffee shop. Cheers...!

ok i think in a couple places, the translation is incorrect bc the name of the taller guy (Nami) is the same word as for "someone else" so at 3:23, the girl on the phone is saying "don't tell nami oppa" there's also some confusion around when she refers to nami and jaemin, who are both men older than her, so she refers to them both as oppa but when speaking to jaemin, oppa is him and nami oppa is nami at 5:34, she's saying "so this (in reference to jaemin) is nami oppa's new lover" at 5:48, "don't meet/date nami oppa" at 5:56, "because I like nami oppa" at 6:58, "and what about nami oppa?"
The ending of Ep 4 broke my heart. PLEASE don't let the story end there. The two lead actors have incredible chemistry. They deserve to have their story continue.

Very annoying and frustrating as the plot develops into a 7pm TV soap drama for aunties when the audience shout, "Tell him! Tell him about that vicious woman whom you treat like a sister! Tell him she threatens you and tell him to stay away such an evil, scheming woman. If she finally gives up, she won't let others have you but will destroy you, such accusing you of molest and spread fake rumours about you. Come on! Tell him!"

But the plot develops into a 7pm TV soap drama for aunties. The character just won't tell the other party (Jae Min telling how vicious that girl is) and Jae Min gives up so easily. And Nam I doesn't try to find out why he behaves like that but threatens that if you let go of my hand, we're finished. Aiyah, please don't try to defend the scriptwriter.

I very much agree with you both. She was too calm and quick with her tactics, so seeing how snake-like she is, I'd not put it past her thinking this was her first time doing something like this. I'm glad he regretted her, but my question is, how is Nami not noticing?? Does he just think he's the problem and reason why all his partners are breaking up with him?? I hope these questions find answers in Part 2 coming in June.

😭 Their situation is similar to Balgeum and Ji In Ho in "Boys Be Brave". The difference is that Jaemin is under threat while Balgeum is ashamed of being poor.
nah here jaemin is very hard to trust character and i feel like he wouldn't even continue even if no one threatened him because he will never trust nami while balgeum its just a self-esteem problem.

For Balg-Eum is NOT "just a self-esteem problem". We don't even know if he is studying something to have a better future later on like the leads... or if he is just working his ass out to support himself in a day to day basis with so many different part time jobs. Specially a guy in love likes to provide for the guy he likes as good as he can. We see how he struggles to pay for the nice restaurant diner he invited In-Ho... and in the end he does not have enough money to pay for it in full. That is not a self-esteem problem, that is a financial problem. He almost spend his entire savings on that meal... for the guy he loves...!! There is not easy solution for a financial problem... so I am looking forward to see how the story of that couple ends too.

That has nothing to do with self-esteem... that is 100% real. A self-esteem issue would be if Balg-Eum were financially cover but still think of himself as not being good enough to be with In-Ho. Balg-Eum is struggling to survive on his own all alone. He knows himself and his situation very well, so choosing NOT to spend any more time together with In-Ho is his way to ease his burden altogether. That is 100% the opposite of lacking self-esteem... that is about knowing his limits, and taking control of his life. The sad part of that story is that In-Ho can't realize that on his own properly, and gives him a present worth half a million WON...! How thoughtless was that..??!! 캐릭터 내면을 조금만 들여다보면 취업 준비에 밀린 공과금에 가스까지 끊긴 상황의 재민이라 자존감이 많이 떨어질 수밖에 없는 상태고 솔이의 협박이 말도 안된다는 걸 알면서도 재민이에겐 충분히 큰 문제로 다가올 수 있을 것 같아요.
우리도 연애를 할 때 이 사람과 얼마나 갈 수 있을까 라는 생각을 하듯이 재민이는 이런 연애가 처음이라 작은 일에도 불안해지는 거죠.
내가 취업도 못하는데 이러고 있어도 될까? 이런 걱정 안하고 하고 싶은 걸 하는 남이가 부러우면서도 자신과 다르다는 걸 느끼고 흔들리는 거라 마냥 비난할 수 없는 것 같아요.
전 재민이가 안쓰럽고 이런 상황이 안타깝고 그러네요.
내가 너무나 하고 싶은 말이 었어요ㅠ

Messing with someone future is not ok I’ve never disliked a character so quickly gives you the impression that she does this all the time.
If this is the last episode, wow the acting, the chemistry they have top notch. The cinematography, artistry and music selection props! ❤
The acting is absolutely superb. I'm entranced by it, and I do truly hope they get a full fleged show because they are truly great actors and have a special way of transmitting the characters' emotions. In particular Hoolim Lee, I can't take my eyes away from him in the more tense scenes.
I think we need season 2 but timing should be 30 min . Even if it's only 4 episode. There are many which should be cleared between them. I don't think it's a better ending. Hope director will consider audience's feeling. And yes both actors did an excellent job. They have perfect chemistry. Would like to see them in more dramas.

Y bueno Chaeyoon confrontó a Soo-ho, y este último hizo lo mismo que Nami, llamó a su madre.

Realmente la producción está haciendo un buen trabajo a pesar del bajo presupuesto, la química entre los actores es increíble, así mismo las actuaciones. Espero que gracias a este proyecto, grandes empresas se fijen en estos dos talentosos chicos, porque créanme su actuación se siente tan genuina.

Jae Min is so selfish! Nam Yi has proven himself to be devoted and monogomous to Jae Min but Jae Min still needs reassurance. It has to be hard for Jae Min being alone for so long that he has alot to undo since he learned to be lonely. My heart breaks for Nam Yi because I'm sure people liked him solely because he's from a wealthy family. Ugh, Jae Min get it together! Even though this was a short 4 episode mini series, it was so powerful and memorable. The ending is raw and realistic and will stick with you. Sometimes there isn’t a happy ending and reality and fear of the unknown gets in the way, but hopefully only temporarily. The acting was top tier and I’d love to see the leads in a full BL series in the future. Amazing job to everyone involved. 👏✨
I'm glad someone said this because I mostly see comments about how they want a happy ending and I would want one too but I also understand why it ended like this. I feel like people don't want realistic endings which I find odd.

Or that maybe some watch BL to escape the pressures and stress of reality and everyday life so they look for a happy ending. I love fluffy BLs but I also love the realistic ones that sometimes have an open or not so happy ending too. It’s just preference I think.

It was real and heart breaking. It portrayed real life dilemmas and sometimes having to give up your happiness, because of outside (or inside) pressure. It happens. Sad ending is ok if that makes sense. This doesn't make any sense. Just cut off. Like something unfinished. End of budget or ideas or anything. Hanging off without any normal explanation or reason, is not a sad ending, but an amateur move from the director. He wanted something which hits different than the usual bl.s but not executed well.
@@H-Judith I understand your point. To me, it didn’t feel unfinished as he does let go of his hand in the last scene. How I interpreted it was that the pressure he felt with finding a job and the threat from Sol weighed heavy on his heart and so he made that decision. But they are continuing with a part 2 in June actually. So I think they heard all the feedback and are continuing their story, which I’m excited for because their chemistry is so good.

If I compare the legal situation of the LGBT+ community in Korea nothing has change at all since 2010... and even Human Rights Watch has released alarming reports in the past years on bullying and harassment in the entire educational system; and that despite of having in the capital the "The Seoul Ordinance of Student Rights" since 2012 which offers protective guidelines against discrimination on the basis of gender identity and sexual orientation. Another Korean TV Drama "Love With Flaws" from 2019 shows a case of forcibly outing the elite university student HO DOL and the unbelievable rejecting reactions of all of his classmates. Image... those student are the future of that nation...!! That drama deals also with a suicide attend of the young gay guy WON SUK... who ends up together with HO DOL.
So... with all that said already... is not surprise to me seeing how terrified JAE-MIN reacts to the threads of being forcibly outed if he does not give up being with NAM-I. That is the reality... and not the pink milk bubble world most Korean BL Series portray. And therefor I am very grateful to this production... daring to include such a topic... even if is going to be really difficult - perhaps impossible - to deal with it in a deeper way with such a limited screening time for the Episodes. Many viewers may think that JAE-MIN is a coward choosing to break up with NAM-I... but considering his financial situation and being at the very beginning of his working career a coming out would be really mean his civil death at such a young age. While in the BL pink milk bubble world everything is possible in the real world is not, so... unless JAE-MIN wins the lottery is hard to picture a proper way out of this. There is not one Korean production dealing with this issue completely, so I am really looking forward to see what the script writers prepare for JAE-MIN to move on with his life, and not regret making the choices he is making.
Once again... The actors Seungjin Choi and Hoolim Lee enhance the value of the entire story very well with their tender chemistry, and altogether is really joyful to see them together. The breaking up scene has been presented in a very calm way... with a direct and civilized way in the dialogues between the leads. Even during this controversial fight moment they don't curse each other, or use a vulgar vocabulary. Just the opposite: the talk in a determined but also reconciling way. The same goes for the dialogue between JAE-MIN and the girl SORI at the coffee shop.

ok i think in a couple places, the translation is incorrect bc the name of the taller guy (Nami) is the same word as for "someone else"
so at 3:23, the girl on the phone is saying "don't tell nami oppa"
there's also some confusion around when she refers to nami and jaemin, who are both men older than her, so she refers to them both as oppa
but when speaking to jaemin, oppa is him and nami oppa is nami
at 5:34, she's saying "so this (in reference to jaemin) is nami oppa's new lover"
at 5:48, "don't meet/date nami oppa"
at 5:56, "because I like nami oppa"
at 6:58, "and what about nami oppa?"
The ending of Ep 4 broke my heart. PLEASE don't let the story end there.
The two lead actors have incredible chemistry. They deserve to have their story continue.

I am loving this show. Acting is extremely good. And can i add their deep voices are intoxicating.
