I'm building the kit right now. The box has a 20018 copyright on the box end and you can tell it's getting old, lots of flash and tool marks from the molds they are using. The nose cone and inlets were reworked by Trumpeter after the kit came out because of complaints on the shapes and sizes of both of them, so at least that was fixed by them. If you are thinking about using the Eduards exterior photo etch set #32137, don't waste your money.The set was made when the kit first came out and parts like the huge intake screens DO NOT fit the retooled kit !!! As for the funky metal hinges, just glue the control surfaces in one position and save the headache of parts flapping around ! It might be a huge kit but it's turned into a real pain ! Just my thoughts.
Well the Carpet Monster can take a vacation during this build lol because you can't miss these parts if they fall on the floor! Jolly good show bro! 🤘🤘🤘

Hello This review was just what I was looking for since I have been wandering around the doubt of buying it or not for several days. By the way the beautiful decals of the Wolfpack of the tomcat where did you find them .. what brand are they? Greetings from Italy
@@mrzzgo0ro0na A real shame because I already have the most accurate tamiya one on the shelf with various aftermarket decals plus Jollyrogers decals in addition to the kit ones.
Oil built the 2 seat version I thought it went pretty well I no it's newer release then the single seat haven't built it yet ,think it was su 30 mmk if I remember now lol ,it's Hugh lots of paint ,very enjoyable build for me

By length but not width which is fairly handy…it’ll be smaller than my f-14 because it the f-14 has the wings full open
