Recently visited North Western University , Kellogg School of Management. It was wonderful

Surprised to not see Rice, Georgetown, SUNY Binghamton, Vanderbilt, Univ. of Rochester, Univ. of Virginia, Rensselaer Polytech, Carnegie Mellon, Notre Dame, and Case Western Reserve.

USC is ranked #25 in US News and World Report and is continually ranks #22-25 for the past few years there are universities here that are absolutely below the University of Southern California.

You should have used the US News list for US colleges not the global list. For example, only a student from Washington might consider the University of Washington over Yale. The same with graduate schools and employers.

That is why most of comments question the list. It is contrary to everything what Americans have seen. Also, no one, US or foreign, would pick the University of Washington over Yale. The global list is useless.

If you consider how much money parents spent to try and cheat their kids way into USC, you would think so.

Need to do more research on how these rankings are done or risk losing credibility making these posts. Your closing statements tries to address this -- but the title of this video is still wrong. For instance it would be more accurate to take the top National Univ in the US from US News and World Report -- than to try and extract from the Global University list because the rankings are more relational to what matters for that specific country. The reason why the rankings differ from Global is because you can't really compare some of the attributes to institutions across the world as you would within a country like the US.

But these rankings do not matter much according to people close to me who attended these schools. They are all good and it eventually comes down to the student.
But it's so tough for chance who are good in mathematics he probably got the chance. My brother Bangladesh Mathematics Olympiad 1st in the world. He got the chance at MIT. So more n more work hard you success in your life.......💗
For STEM it probably is. But these rankings are across all majors, and Harvard for example example is better than MIT in the humanities and non STEM fields

This is not accurate. The University of Illinois has one of the best engineering schools in the country. Also, the U of I has the second best accounting department in the country.

I had graduated from University of Illinois with MA in Russian and worked for NASA under contract as researcher for 28 years!! Keep in mind this when making rankings!!
UIUC is better than at least half of the flagship public schools in this list. I have no cooperation with this school.

Garbage. History doesn't matter if you are ranking a school today. High scholarship and reputation from top to bottom matter. That takes Harvard off the list altogether. I would not send my grandkids there.
