1989 huh? God that seems like such a long time ago. Still of the Night got me hooked on hair metal. But I didn't get to go see Whitesnake until the slip of the tongue tour. I was 15 years old. And this was the biggest band in the world to me. Everything about hair metal was exciting. Especially the women. The girls were so much different than they are today. Oh how I long for the time before third-wave feminism. And I still have my... Fuc Tipper Gore shirt. Thanks for being there guys. It's because of you, and others just like you. I, am still be able to look back on those times and smile.
I saw this tour. Band was great and Steve Vai was mind blowing. Passion and Warfare was either about to come out or had already and he played a song off it. Unreal.
I always wondered...bands work up a helluva sweat. HOW do they wear leather? I'm surprised they don't pass out from heat exhaustion every night. But if they did, they'd look great doing it! lol

Adrian had a Broken arm, so Vai did all the guitar recordings on the album. We can see them both play here together in concert.
