LIFE FINDS ITS WAY: Capturing the impossible with Gitzo Gimbal Fluid Head (Gitzo GHFG1 Review)

I’ve been passionate about the natural world and its misteries since as long as I can remember. In the last year, during lockdown, I have chased the perfect bird shot traveling all over the country.
In my last trips watching birds in Romania, I have used the state-of-the-art, award winning GITZO Gimbal Fluid Head. This is my short review after half a year of using.

Gitzo GT3542xls and this fluid head I’m using with Kowa 883. As close to perfect as I can afford :)
I picked up this fluid head for £200 in mint condition pre owned. Great quality

Nice video Damian and thank you for sharing your experiences with the Gitzo Gimbal Fluid Head. I'm torn between the Wembley and the Gitzo Gimbals and was wondering how the Gitzo stacks up for fast action movements?

How fast ? I used it to track birds flying unpredictably with 600mm f4, a rather difficult target. For photography it works great, for video ... probably just for following moving subjects in a linear direction. But I didnt test the other one.
