@@highoktanegarage Nice, I have distant relatives there and in ND. My great grand dad used to live on a lake called Little McDonald. I have no idea what city it was in haha. We used to go there when I was a lil kid.

Bout to attempt my first paint job on my new bagger. Ive been watching videos on the lace work. And think ima try it out. Who do i got to blame if i mess it up? Myself lol. So whats it gonna hurt. Could be killer awesome, or killer crap. We will see.
It’s just paint! If you don’t like it, take the DA to it. I will say, if you want to try it out cheap first, you could use aerosol cans to start. I’ve painted a couple bikes using Ed Roth rattle can candy and flake, and it turned out killer. Then just spray some 2K clear out of a gun. It’s a lot less painful to sand away more affordable aerosols, versus having $1000 in material that turns out bad that you have to sand down.
Really good way to get your feet wet, and learn with. Could even paint some skateboards and other stuff to get some confidence too. Always look cool as a wall hanger, even if they turn out bad, because you can look back at it and see what your first paint job looked like

@nomadryder4377 no problem. I’m no professional, we’re just hobbyists, but I LOVE that paint. Still use it on a lot of stuff to this day
Was the curtan removed once paint dried ?
It was removed as soon as your done spraying
Is most of the time spent just taping? Must take a lot of patience. Looks great
A good couple hours of it is taping. Lots of waiting in between coats for it to flash as well. That’s the part that takes the most patience!

What hood scoop is in the hood?
It’s a scoop from a 66 GTO
@highoktanegarage my uncle put a gto scoop in his that's why I asked it was hard to tell in the video but it's a nice touch to the 55 hood
Where did you get the lace? Paint store or just ordered it off Amazon
