A Walk in The Weald | Hollingbourne & Hucking Circular

This walk in The Weald is a spectacular 7 mile circular route that can either be started at Hollingbourne train station or you can drive, although parking is sometimes a problem. The sharp uphill at the beginning is richly rewarded with stunning views across the weald of Kent from atop the North Downs. There's plenty to lookout for including carved sculptures - a family of wild boar, a huge tranchet axe, and of course the forlorn shepherd. If you have time there is a popular pub en route but today I stick to the trail and drink in the views. I hope you enjoy. Let me know if there is a walk you'd like me to do.
