Hi everyone and welcome to my channel !!!
My name is Katrina and I want to share with you everything I know about making Kanzashi and other fabric flowers. We are going to use them in all sorts of projects like hair accessories and home decor items. I will try to answer all of your questions, so...Whether you already know something about this craft or only thinking about starting, subscribe my channel and let's get creative together.
Finally!!! English speaking kanzashi vlogger😍😍😍😍
Katrina, since I accidentally found your first video on Kanzashi flowers I have been hooked. I have watched a lot of other videos but since they are all in what I think is Russian or Spanish I must watch them over and over till I can figure out what they are doing. Sometimes I never can figure it out!!! Your videos are so easy to understand and you show the petals being made a second time which is very helpful. Keep making more videos. Iris
Iris thank you so much for your comment. This is exactly the reason I started this channel, there is not enough tutorials in English for this craft. I will definitely be posting more videos as often as I can. Hoping to post a new one today or tomorrow. If you have certain requests, please send me the pictures through my Facebook page and I will try to make a video. Ok? Thanks again

muy linda, no te salgas de camara!!!
Beautiful, is it possible to make them bigger petals or they have to be small to be dainty?
cute flower😍
can you please tell me what can i use instead of hot glue?
You can use E-6000 or Amazing GOOP. They work great, just takes longer. Good luck to you!! let me know if you there is anything else i can help you with. ;-)
very good I impressed
Sheetal Jain muivonito
You can use Silicon glue. I use them for all my fabric crafts, they work really great.
Hello, I love your work and look forward to making some of these flowers myself. Can you tell me, is there a reason you use a different glue (Goop) to put on the rhinestone button instead of continuing with using the hot glue gun for the button? Thank you!
Sometimes hot glue won't glue the buttons in permanently and they fell of in a couple of days. it doesn't happen with polymer glue like amazing goop or e6000
wow supper
awesome video thanks for sharing it with us here all around the world keep making please i will start soon making them if I can be brave like you with that lighter wow does your fingers dont get burnt a lot? Take care
+Annette Silverio I have a lot of years of experience. You can use the candle and tweezers to save your fingers :) don't be afraid to try!
Hi: I've seen Laura Galera's videos, and she uses UHU, Ihope that this can be of help! 🌹
Very nice artical
schön
What other alternative can I use instead of Lighter? Is it ok if I just use thread and needles? Since I will be working in a cruiseline and flamble things are not allowed..
You can use the needle and thread instead of a glue, but how are you going to keep the ends from fraying?
I've found a way, I can use clear nail polish and apply a very thin coat.. I can also use clear glue so that the ribbon will be prevented of fraying :D
You use a different glue than the hot glue for the center piece, does the hot glue not keep the center piece on the bow?
Irene Duda it does but not very well. Glues like E6000 or Gorilla glue do a much better job when it come to plastic or metal centers
Katrina. Thanks for the vid but I have a question. How do you get them to be all the same size and height. I have been wrestling with this for awhile there is something I am not doing right.
It's just take practice I guess. You can make one petal and use it as a template for now. After a while you will be able to do it just like that
Thanks! :) Keep the vids coming
Will do
muy lindo sera q puede poner las medidas en un papel pero en español gracias
+María Eliana Rodríguez Chóez Todas las medidas están en la descripción de este video

very amazing flower! you are so creative! but can you tell me where did you buy the center of the flower please
+Waluyo best www.pandahall.com. They have very good variety of cabochons like this
Kanzashi Petals
is that an online shop ?
+Waluyo best yes, the are located in China and you buy in bulk but this is why it's very inexpensive. But if you don't want to do that, you can try Etsy.com
Kanzashi Petals
the shop is in china ? but how you pay it? is that you pay it with you currency on your country? I'm from Indonesia
+Waluyo best Yes you do. They ship worldwide and this is why it's so awesome. Just go check it out and let me know if you need more help 🙂
disculpe no me habia dado cuenta
très joli et très bien expliqué .Ces fleurs kanzashi sont -elles une spécialité ukrainienne ?
Kanzashi is a Japanese art adopted by modern crafters
Merci pour votre réponse. Mais je ne vois pas beaucoup de commentaires ou de démonstratrices japonaises. Mais plutôt des explications en alphabet cyrillique et des prénoms slaves : katrina, tatsiana, alina. ...
Those are some the modern crafters who took the old Japanese art of Kanzashi and gave it a new life. It just so happens that it bacame more popular in Russian speaking countries.
