- Hey y’all! I’m Auhneja. I’m a 20 year old nursing student who starts nursing school Fall Semester of 2022 and I am excited to share my journey with you guys!
In this video I explained everything I did to earn my cna. Thank you so much for watching and see again very soon!
#cna #nursing #nursingschool #nurse #howto
That was my journey, PCT,RN now CRNA. I dont regret anything as a cna u can get so much exposure in a hospital and that makes nursing school a little easier. I recommend going to a hospital instead of a nursing home. A lot of nurses love sharing knowledge and i remember being in nursing school and knowing so much stuff already just from being in the hospital setting
CRNA! That’s amazing❣️ and yes I agree.
I too recommend hospital over nursing home. I did nursing home, but as a CNA in the hospital, you get twice as much exposure and knowledge, which prepare you for nursing school
Recently passed my skills and knowledge, just landed my first job✨
Congratulations!! Love seeing these types of comments!
Well done
Congrats! Can't wait for my time
Do u study as Nursing Assistant program then took an exam to be certified? Or ur program is directly as CNA?
Congratulations! 17 hoping to be like this.
Very informative thank you. I am considering getting my CNA certifications. I’ve worked at the hospital as EVS, and wanted to move up. This has helped me a lot, I am definitely considering doing it this year or next year. You’re information has been most helpful, than you so much.
Talking of help with CNA exams James is a genius, i never believed it was possible to see my exam questions with the answer, his awesome
@patrickneo5363I’ve always believed NNAAP is not for all but studying, you need God’s grace to pass

@@lydiam2997Yes you’re correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can’t study then get yourself a good help
I studied for months and couldn’t pass, I guess passing is a blessing
CNA might seem so tough to pass but studying very hard is a very vital skill to win trust me
great video gurl!!! hair looks amazing
If you are already in nursing school, check with your state's board of nursing. In some states, you can automatically apply for the CNA after taking and passing your Fundamentals of Nursing course (and possibly some additional courses like Health Assessment) in school instead of taking an actual CNA course.
In my state, after passing my Fundies and Health Assessment course, I sent in my app along with my background check and transcript. No additional exams were required.
wow! That’s awesome. Thank you so much for sharing this.
@@peaceandshine what state are you in? That’s amazing. I’m in nursing school also
@@Heiress.project I'm from Illinois and I get to just take my CNA exam after passing fundamentals of Nursing.
Ohio is that way
Congratulations on your hard work and dedication..
I graduated on June 2, 2023 from my CNA/GNA program. I didn't go the college route. There is a learning center in my area that has the program, and the tuition was covered by a workforce development center that i am a member of. I am awaiting my certification to be active, but it will take time due to COVID slowing the process down. I start at my area hospital as a PCT in Med Surge-Oncology unit, night shift on June 19, 2023. I am excited to start. I am also enrolled and starting the nursing program at the community college in the Spring 2024 semester.
There were three sections to our program. Section #1, was in class. We had 24 chapters to test on plus the final exam that covered all 24 chapters. We also had the skills to get familiar with. Section #2 was the Skills Review week, where we performed all 23 skills. Section #3 was Clinical week, where we were on a unit. Because our class were large, there were 4 separate groups. My group (group A) and group B did clinicals first, then C&D did clinicals the following week. I got hired for the same unit i did clinicals on.
In my state, there is a CNA and a GNA certification/license. Upon successful completion of the entire 12 week program, our information is sent to the Board of Nursing. For the GNA license, I registered through "Credentia", which is a division of Pearson Vue. I also scheduled my exams the same day of graduation and passed on the first attempt. I had 5 skills to do.
Please how can I register please
@@okorieesther4622Have you try reaching out Mrs Brenda for a help I got pass through the questions and answers I got from her

I’m glad I watched your video because you mentioned grants and the CNA qualification (couldn’t hear the clear name) that would allow a hospital to help with my finances for nursing school
Congrats to passing your state exam and getting into nursing school. 😁 I became certified on April 25th. I start my CNA job on May 9th. I had the same skills on my test. 😂
Omg!! Congratulations! And wowww the same exact skills 😂❤️

You are so beautiful and inspire me , thank you for this video!
Thank you, you are so welcome.
Thank you, you are so welcome.
I work for a nonprofit hospital that pays for CNA training and helps encourage them to become nurses if they want. They also encourage us to stay CNA if we want and help us to be better at it. Now if they could just do something about all the nurse/CNA lateral violence, nurse/nurse lateral violence, CNA/CNA lateral violence, etc. There may not be any way to do anything about all the drama and bullying and mobbing, etc. If they could figure out some way to squash that even a little the job would be so much better and more quality people would apply.
Please share the name of your hospital
Thank you for your Service. May God bless you.
Thank you, I receive it.

Okay what do you think of this plan:
1. Complete prerequisites for nursing school
2. Take (and pass) the CNA cert course
3. Get a job as a CNA
4. Apply to nursing school and pass
5. Get a job as an RN

How long does it take to complete?
This is exactly why I'm working PRN as a CNA.
Nice video 🥰🥰🥳your video is so cool, honestly CNA is such a difficult test man , really don’t know what to do but I’m never losing hope.
I’ve heard so registered nurse talk about her, I didn’t understand what they were saying, I hope she replies my text on WhatsAp.
wow I’m surprised to see Brenda mentioned here, I worked with her few years back and I passed my CNA, I’ll be going for nurse practitioner exams and she’s gonna be my back bone.
how does this work please??
wow she’s a genius
Great insight , I appreciate an opportunity to get such knowledge on how to pass the CNA , I look forward to working with her and making her an alternative source .
I used the hope grant in Georgia, and my entire class was paid for. I've been certified since 2005.
Awesome vid!! Thanks a lot. Did you have to wear a scrub to your CNA classes???
Thank you. Not to the classes, just to the clinical portion
I’m in school for clinical psychology but I want to work on the side as a CNA. I currently work as a DSP (direct support professional) and I am unhappy. I just want a new environment. Something refreshing.
Find a program and go for it. Just try it see how you like it. The chance is worth it.

Being a CNA is definitely stressful! My class was only 4 days but getting an actual test date took longer. It was so stressful I started going to school for Cyber Security.
That’s awesome. I really love both fields. Healthcare and tech probably my favorite.

Yea, one young nurse told me she wishes she goes to CNA first! She’s a case manager now
It helps in a lot of different ways!
I’m 19 and thinking about being a CNA next year. I’m going to study first before i go to the program. What are some good studying tips and book i can get?
Speaking out loud like you’re teaching yourself the content is very helpful.
CNA exam is very difficult to pass, I can't believe i failed after studying with so many materials😞
Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you study you also need to pray to God for success
@ very correct
I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the cna exam last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mr Richard 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🫢🫢🫢🫢🫢
Please does anyone know who this Mr Richard is? I really need to speak with him I'm frustrated 🥺
Wow so sorry you failed, i have heard so much about Richard but I don't actually have his info
I'm not gonna lie. I just clicked on this because I never seen such a beautiful one before.
How much do CNA’s make?
Met a guy in sauna and said he was a travel CNA and you can request your own rate.
He mentioned he made like $30-$40 an hour which is solid
Now I’m considering this career 👍
CNA pay can range. Anywhere from $16-$40 an hour. This is greatly influenced by the company, type of CNA and like you mentioned, if you are working for an agency.
Wow. Not bad pay. Did you get into it?
Heyy.
Please share your respective college from where you studied this course!
Will be taking my CNA program in Fall of 2024 has a sr in highschool I am so nervos
You got this ❣️
Ok so this is my question I’m in school in the pre nursing BSN program and I wanted to get my cna while still in school so that I could get a feel of being in a hospital but everytime I look for a online course it try to make me apply to a college and I’m already in college 😵💫 so how do I go about that do I just pick up an extra major or?
Look up the course at a community college. They won’t require you to register as a student at the school but they will require you to maybe add that school to your FASFA.
You should only have to register for the CNA course and not for becoming a student at that school.
Hi do you think job corps would be good to be a cna

Im about to take my cna in California and i really wanna move to Texas (love the state). I was planning on working as a cna and go to school for my lpn. Any recommendations?
You can definitely do it. From personal experience, I think, earning your CNA, and then working as a CNA while you’re in nursing school is amazing. However, time management will have to become your best friend !
wow so gud..
I have a question so my high school does a college program and they have a cna program that I want to attend to this year and earn my cna certificate but I’m turning 18 in October should I try and get it now or wait it off ?
I think it’ll be a great idea to earn your CNA while you’re in high school.
I live in the state of Texas so I need my high school diploma to become a CNA I really want to go for that ?
Can hep B people study or work as CNA?
Could you please explain how that PRN and tuition reimbursement works? Does it mean you work for free and just get your tuition for the semester paid for?
Depending on where you work they have different requirements for tuition reimbursement. Some jobs require you to work full-time to qualify for tuition reimbursement. I would ask you a specific facility.
Thanks sis for the information..am from Uganda and soon coming to usa 🇺🇸 iwanna study CNA thats my dream...

Can someone get CNA while studying for RNA ?
Do you know if Dallas College CNA program is good? I can’t find the acceptance rate?
I haven’t attended, however it’s a well known and credible school.
Certified nurse and midwife from india should undergo this cna course? Or they can directly work as nursing assistants with their bsc nursing and RN,RM certificates from their country?
Because you were already a nurse, I don’t think earning your CNA certificate is necessary. However, I advise you to speak with Ck managers at the facility you were wanting to work at.
Hey im currently in nursing school & im very shy & have anxiety lol anything you can recommend to help. Or say when speaking to patients during the 22 skills test ?
Try to focus on the fact that you’re there to help someone better themselves and try not focus on yourself, like the thought of “messing up.” You’re going to do great, just be yourself and practice the skills.
Where did you find 7 weeks course?) I can’t find in Oceanside, CA and close any speed course… 😢
Can you recommend your school ?
Most CNA programs are anywhere between 6 and 11 weeks. I live in Texas. The rules may be different. Look at several community colleges within your area.
I’m in ca and there are a lot of online courses you can take that are less than 7weeks. Just search around!
I also live in California I’m starting my CNA program with Los Angeles skills academy look them up
Is it okay to get CNA before an RNA
If there’s any CNAS looking for a job for $15 a hr. in the Philadelphia area comment me back ❤️
Is there any CNA program in canada? Nursing graduating here
Is being a cna really necessary? I’m a medical assistant in the hospital and I enjoy being that. I’m thinking about goin to nursing school
I think being a medical assistant or a CNA before you start nursing school are both equally amazing! Both give you a first person perspective of what to expect in the field.

Sometimes they’re even other high school students in the same class as you.
