Singles increase hype for an album and therefore serve to increase sales on the album. Releasing most of the album as single would kill the hype because why would you buy the album if you've already heard the majority? (Probably the best songs as well)

Third point is streaming.Adele never releases her albums for streming initially thats why her sale numbers are so high
So if u are a streamed artist its beneficial to release singles coz most people will prefer streaming the album than buying the album unless u do what adele does

@@Papabandana lol yeah I love that "after last night" track might be my favorite but yeah I could see that about the nostalgia but music is supposed to make you feel. this album does that it takes you on a roller coaster of emotions, the sounds, the smoothness, the instrumentation, when you hear them deep base hits in "smokin out the window" or the melodic intro to "leave the door open" or even the fact of hearing bootsy Collins voice throughout the album it brings you back to a time when music was music thats not to take anything away from the artists of today but it creates a balance this is an album that you can listen to with your grandma after church and your girl after the club. I hope there's a part 2 cause I wanted more but this is quality assurance at its best

Bruno had that Sammy Davis Jr. mustache, and Anderson Paak is channeling Red Fox/Bobby Womack for real. This is another smash hit for this pair, and Silk Sonic backed them the hell up! Everything was on point, from the staging, the clothes, the choreography, the back up singing, the lighting, etc. Musically when you got the chance to listen, it made you feel the chord progressions, and changes all through your body. This is the kind of song that is not only smooth, but brings a person back to a time when in the 70's, you can be in the city, and appreciate it.
