AFI Days of The Phoenix drum cover

For this video, I decided to dabble in some nostalgia music from my youth. I remember seeing people in high school wearing AFI shirts and I initially thought they were a metal band. I asked a friend of mine what kind of band AFI were and he clarified that they were a hard core band ripping off the Misfits. Days Of the Phoenix was the 1st song I heard and honestly, I didn't initially like it, considering too pop punk for me. After a while though, I changed my mind and appreciated how AFI seemed to effortlessly mix hardcore, pop punk, emo, goth and Iron Maiden. Their best album I think is Sing The Sorrow but Art of Drowning (DOP was the single) is also a great album! Adam Carson is a great, hard hitting drummer!
