But canned tuna smell bad.. do you need to cook it first
No need to dirty a strainer.. just squeeze the juice out of the can with the lid.

It’s all about aesthetics in these videos. Cause my ingredients would also go straight from the cutting board into the bowl and skip the cute glass bowls. This is visually pleasing tho. 😄

There is nothing better than a fine tuna sandwich on great bread.
For my convenience:
1) strain water tuna
2) Add in 1/4 cup of mayo
3) 1/4 cup of diced cucumbers
4) 1/4 cup of onioned diced
sprinkle salt and pepper and squeeze some lemon. Add in chopped cilantro.
(my additions: You can use yoghurt instead of mayo and few pickles or celery instead of cucumber. You can also add a bit of mustard if you prefer. You can also add chopped boiled eggs. Tweak as you wish!)
Spread butter on bread and spread tuna salad. Cut and serve.

Tuna and chicken raps
Strain water from tuna
Add yoghurt or mayo
Add diced onions and Cucumber
Sprinkle salt soya sauce and lemon
Add coriander and stir together
Asd boiled eggs and fried chicken
Wich can not yoghurts
I tried it and added a little bit of cumin and 1 tsp of olive oil and it tasted so good! Thank you :)

Reminds me of the ones my mother used to make when i was a kid, she knew I hated tuna but the sandwiches? Couldn't resist them. Looking back made it easier for me to fed too, canned tuna was super cheap.
I NEVER rave about tuna salad. But I had to try this recipe and it is sooooo goooood. I did however, use Miracle Whip and Dijon mustard instead because that’s what I had on hand. I also toasted my bread. It’s a winner however you make it. 🤤 Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Anyone else who just presses down on the lid to squeeze out the water? Honestly never saw anyone use a strainer to get rid of the liquid lol.

Cucumber is a wonderful addition. I'll have to give it a try. I usually just do the basic mayo an tuna on bread an that's it.
The more veggies the better, I say. I try for half the volume to be veg. Celery, sweet red pepper, grated carrot help to up the content. Lots of arugula on the sandwich. Add parsley in addition to or instead of cilantro. Also nice are pepitas/pumpkin seeds. And either capers or dried cranberries depending on whether you want sweet or savoury.

I love tuna sandwiches and this is one of the best recipes I've ever seen. The only change I would make is add a little chopped tomato to the mixture and some cheese on the bread. Delicious! Thank you for sharing!!
Yuk you’d ruin Tuna with tomatoes like super crazy! I am coastal and love it with Mayo and that’s all I want my tuna flavor not onions yuck I enjoy Fish!!

@@toinimoore3463 tomatoes are very common ingredient in tuna where I grew up, I heart it.
I cut slices of tomato add on top of the sandwich. Not to the mixture. Actually I also like to add a boiled egg to the mixture.
This is the most delicious sandwich I have ever seen. This is great work!

Loved the recipe after some tweaking. I made a tosti based on your recipe and tried different cheeses. Not sure which combo is best but your recipe is awesome because I can use the filling in so much more!
The cool thing about this is that there literally endless combinations of many different ingredients to make tuna (or salmon, chicken, etc.) salads!
Instead of cucumber you can also use celery. its great
And pickles...I cant eat tuna sandwich without pickles! & also finely chopped boiled egg!!!!!!

I've finally learned how important it is to peel celery before chopping it.

If you are going to add butter, then go the extra mile, and press it into a Tuna Cuban. Despite having it at 3 am in Varadero, the press made all the difference.
Looks very nice, the only thing I would add, would be a teaspoon or Worcestershire sauce. That gives it a nice tangy kick.

If you want to up your tuna to a whole new level, use Yellowfin tuna, its head and shoulders above Albacore. I use Safe Catch.

I love making tuna sandwiches and I have to say this one is interesting,but ingredients sound wonderful. Not sure putting butter on the bread ,but hey I’ll try it 😊 thanks for sharing.
