I recently was given this for Christmas. It's a game I wouldnt ordinarily play, but I've just come off Cuphead and finishing that a week ago. I've seen most of the customer reviews are average or negative. 5-7 out of 10. How good would you say this game is, and are those reviews warranted? Also, cool playthrough 😊

I honestly dont remember, its been forever since I played this game. I feel like the weapon upgrades were not permanent though.

I would say average is a fair way to rate the game. The story was pretty interesting and the gameplay is what you would expect with that genre

What makes this game stand out from the dozen other horizontal shmups out there? Is it just copy and paste formula with different graphics and levels?
Story because most shmups had none or very few
