- General Hospital February 7-9, 2005. Jason risks everything to prove sam's innocence and is shot in the process. Then sam risks her freedom to save his life and seeks monica's help. Sam asks why Jason believed her and he tells her because he knows her and he loves her. She returns the sentiment tending to his wound in one of sonny's safe houses.

Here is when Jason and Sam became unbreakable, undeniable and inevitable no matter whatever the circumstances maybe. Meaning that they would always going to end up together. At this point, they both realized they were willing to risk anything and everything for one another. Jason stood up to Sonny. Although he did that before with Courtney this time was different because he did it while one of Sonny's kids was missing and he was helping the main suspect. So, Jason went against a direct order from Sonny. Furthermore, Jason decided to allow Sam to work with him to find out the truth about the kidnapping. Something he would have never allowed anyone else to do. That is how much Jason trusted Sam. He knew she was a great backup for him. Also, it showed that Jason liked working with Sam and sharing everything with her. Then Sam risked her life, freedom and her own safety to help Jason by bringing his mom to help him with the gun shot wound. Nevermind, the fact that throughout this whole situation she proved to Jason that she is extremely capable, reliable, resourceful, trustworthy, strong, fierce, a quick thinker and can handle her own in a gun fight. She was most definitely an asset to Jason, especially for the kind of life he leads. It was clear from that moment on that Jason had found in Sam his perfect match. He found his Bonnie to his Clyde. But most importantly, Jason found in Sam unconditional love, understanding, support and acceptance without any kind of judgement. Something he never experienced in his life before Sam. She is his "Ride or Die" girl 'till the end!!

This was a period of time where I really hated Alexis. She screams at Sam the night her baby died and now she is telling Sunny to bully her or threaten her to confess to something she didn't do
Sam’s comment about kidnapping a child being selfish and cruel is reason number 105 why the Sam watching Jake getting kidnapped storyline was just dumb. Sam had lost two children at this point and still didn’t do anything crazy, but Jason lies to her and all of sudden she abandons all her morals.
In the real world, why Sam wants to be a hero with woman that’s trying destroy her relationship, Sam was so In loves with Jason and drinking, she was out her mind .

Exactly!!! Which is why the whole story with liz and the kidnapping made no sense.
It was kind of ironic. Sonny told Jason that he (Sonny) was the one who was usually blindsided by emotion while Jason saw things clearly. He was insinuating that their roles were reversed while in fact they were. Acting just as they always did.
Jason was still seeing clearly.

I really really hate how they made Sam do what she clearly hates witch is taking a child from their mom the , writers made Sam take Jake and made a big riff between Sam and Jason I hated that story line with a passion.

Sam did not take Jake, she watched while the unbalanced woman did and did not tell. That was uncharacteristic of her and the writers made a mistake expecting the audience to believe Sam would do that. It was ridiculous.

Alexis and Sonny blamed Sam then Jason for the kidnapping when they did not do it, it is an enemy probably of Sonny or Alexis because they are pompous jerks both of them.
