Craigslist is more like the Internet was before social media (and it existed before social media). Early Internet wasn't everyone, it was 99 percent smart male aspies with zero social skills. And newspapers before that had "Missed connections" sections in the classifieds that were similar to this. "You smiled at my Pink Floyd T-shirt on the 22 Filmore bus last Sunday. I know it's meant to be. I'll be at Barany's Beanery this Sunday wearing a purple Fedora. Meet me there if you felt it too."
